We'll know it's just an Auburn problem. When you've received terrible coaching for 3 years, you tend to look like crap.

Nix did not progress from Week 1 to the Iron Bowl under Kenny Dillingham in 2019. Mac Jones had more TD passes for Auburn than Nix had.

Nix will light up BYU in week 3 then throw 3 picks the next week vs. Washington St.

He is who he is.

Yes because no Junior Qbs ever make major improvements by their senior year. None

He won't be top 3 in the Pac 12. He's essentially a shorter Jayden Daniels from ASU. Comparable prospects, except one's 6'4".

That being said, Oregon would have been a lot better with Jayden Daniels than the BS they ran out last year.

And when he does the same old thing he’s done his entire college career, what will you say then?

Jayden Daniels would be 5x the player as Brown at Oregon. I don’t have a lot of faith in Nix. He sucks until he doesn’t.

I will say that watching Nix tape today makes me think that OL was a huge issue at Auburn.

Jones threw two TDS for Auburn scores that day and Nix only threw one.

I'll be honest, I'm curious.

There are so many AU people convinced that he's a top tier QB with the right supporting cast. I, however, think he is far closer to a competent game manager than a dynamic QB who will win you games.

So I'm interested to see if he's a markedly different QB at Oregon. Auburn is trying to change their foundation, so if Bo is better and it's an indictment of Auburn, that's fine too. It'll just reinforce why we needed to roll the dice on the staff change.

Who was the short dude that eventually got kicked out of school right before Mariotta?

He could be like that. Maybe. Obviously not ideal, but given what you had this year?

Nix is a good QB and Auburn will miss him. His inconsistency at Auburn was tied to a weak OL which hindered the running game. He will make it to the NFL in some role and I hope he is successful.

PS: How many True Freshman QB’s beat bama? Is Bo the only one in recent memory?

This is true, unless the Sr. is actually a 5th yr Sr. Then he might of have improved from his 4th Sr yr..

Entitlement without merit was his biggest problem. He needs to put in the work and prove himself to be able to take coaching and read Defenses better.. this
: I could see him as a Y receiver or H back,, maybe..
But as a qb? Uhh..uhhhh!

Um, no he didn’t. Auburn won 48-45 his freshman year.
