That he's a great coach having a rough year.

Be careful what you wish for. Trust me.

Some of the breaks that have gone his way have left me speechless & on that front Im not going to trash or negate what he has done there at LSU. I have no idea if he is up to snuff on Xs & Os. I know his defenses have been stout 90% of the time. I will say he's gotten some of the most dynamic playmakers on offense out of high school who were never heard from again...I don't know if that says more about recruiting rankings though.

Like him a lot. ....very young team at LSU. He is going to play tough defense and ground control and that's the way to win

TAMU is having a terrible season for the most part. Auburn is regressing after back to back losses. Either one of those teams could win the SEC in the coming year the main point is it takes more than just a "modern offense". Lsu's main problem is how stupid their fans are. They expected way too much from a young team offense. I tried telling LSU fans they would have a 3 to 4 loss season but they expected to compete with Bama. The first step in being better fans is stop acting like Bama's little brother and view your team through reality. The LSU defense has played very well and the team should be a better overall team next year. There is no reason you guy can't be just a 2 loss team next year and make a great bowl.

I like him as a person but the offense needs a total overhaul. But, I'm not paid to make those decisions so my opinion doesn't matter much.

Winner of the most comprehensive flame of the day. No one does it quite like the gumps.

Maybe about the 15th best coach in the country. Very good, not great. LSU is stuck with him because your odds of landing a great coach are very low.

Let's just hope that Miles stays at LSU for a long, long time. Otherwise, the Corndogs will surely be able to just say the word and Saban will come home to them.

That poster has a very valid point though. Corndogs, due to their stupidity, are the most unreasonable and unrealistic fanbase in the nation.

It must make Miles' life a living hell having to live among all of you.

Les Miles was never qualified to coach LSU. I've been saying it for 10 years now. He has won the most games in LSU history and has won 2 SECCG and 1 BCSNC. When you can be at the program that you personally built and go 7-5 but you come to LSU and get an 11 win season in the first year. I just dislike this guy as a coach. He may be a great man but I will never see that as long as he is the coach

Reading what people think about Les Miles: Just blessed to have Coach Saban as our head coach. Coach Saban just out recruits and out coaches Les on a regular basis.

Last 4 Games BAMA 4-0. I agree LSU should keep Les.

Great man, great recruiter, but a mediocre coach who cannot make changes. He is just clueless

Les Miles is a good man. Unfortunately, he lost the team on 1-9-12 and has yet to find a way to build the team's confidence back.

He's a slightly better Houston Nutt coaching a lot of talent. This used to be enough. He's no better or worse than Bob Stoops or Mack Brown, but there are too many good cooks in the secW kitchen.

Your post is ironic because you are an Ole Miss fan.

Riding off the success of a NC that was largely thanks to Saban, holding LSU hostage because they're too afraid to see what life is like with a good HC.

He's a quality coach and an even better person. He is not the problem at LSU - the problem is the fans and your expectations. You lost a shite ton of talent to the NFL including one of your best QBs ever and the fans still expected to just roll over the SEC like nothing happened.

LSU looks to be set up well for next year. Unless you are totally retarded and fire your coach, that is.
