They will have worse QB play and MUCH worse RB play this year. Defense will not be as good and schedule is much tougher

Their logic is hilarious...

"Well all our Saban RB's have been great so that means they will be until he retires"

No... that is not guaranteed. The RB's they have are inexperienced and prone to injuries. No guarantee they are anything special

Nothing in life is a guarantee Trump. But on the whole, with Saban's history I like our chances.

We're looking at the common denominator. Injures may happen, but we all know his backs will be well coached and effective.

Is this where I'm told that experience at RB will finally matter? That they're not just having success because of the OL? Because we've heard that for some time. I guess the argument has changed. Even though the OL brings back among the most starts in the SEC.

Keep throwing those prayers up - maybe one day the good Lawd will see fit to give a shite about football and he'll throw a wrench in Saban's "process" in a effort to level the playing field in the SEC.

And has Saban ever returned RB's with so few yards?

Has Saban ever had a running back who stomped your arse into the ground like Henry did? It's hard to give it to anyone else when you have someone stepping on corndog manhood every time he touched the ball.

You must have missed Bama d-line throwing the LSU o-linemen at the Harris and Fournette. It was embarrassing. Fournette was let down big time by the coaching staff who made no adjustments in plays called.

This is a good question. Because all we've heard in the past is that anyone can run behind Bama's oline whether they have experience/talent or not.

The next thing you know they'll say any coach could win at Bama's level if they had a roster full of Saban's #1 classes.

^^This X 1000.

I know LSU fans are hoping and praying that Les will let go and take his hands off of that offense.

But is he even capable of stepping away from it? And if not, then is he capable of adjusting, innovating, and getting creative with the offensive schemes? Hell, he could get some knowledge from Dameyune Craig if he'd be willing to freaking accept change.

What does 1st or 2nd team have to do with inconsistency and being met in the backfield?

Was LSU's not inconsistent against Bama? Was Fournette not getting hit behind the LOS most plays? It's an excuse for Harris not being good all season but not for Fournette's one bad game?

Try again.

Bookmarked for the next time a Bama fan talks about Fournette's performance against them.

Are you seriously comparing our backup RB's performance in garbage time to what Alabama's defense did to Fournette and the L5U starting offensive line?

Are you a fricking idiot?

I feel like I've heard this before. You know, like every offseason since 2008.

Our RB's will be terrible. We will never replace Henry. Bama has never returned so few carries. That's the magic kryptonite talking point we've all needed to finally bring Bama down in the offseason.

His point was that Fournettes performance had much more to do with what bama did to LSUs offensive line than his own inability.
