Looks like Ole Miss will further embarrass the conference and lose to South Alabama too then since it's a forgone conclusion,

would gladly agree to trade USA on the schedule for a rematch with that soft little team with the sharp uniforms. This time we get to wear our sharp looking white jerseys with gray pants while in your end zones, celebratin n shite.

You lost to fricking South Alabama. It's not a stretch to think we'll win at home against MSU.
State is make UGA forfeit their season. South Alabama> Georgia

Most teams make huge strides from year one to year two.
Most teams don't run off HCs that average 9+ regular season wins for a decade and a half, either.

There are always exceptions.

Probably because most programs don't average 9+ wins a year.

UGA wouldn't average 9 wins a season if they played in the west.

State's floor is 6-6 this year.

UGA - State in Athens is an intriguing game. The norm says that UGA wins this game easy. However, State continually has its talent rundown. Mullen has quietly recruited better and better over the 8 years he has been at the helm. Smart is starting his 2nd year at UGA. On paper, yes he has more talent than State but the gap is probably smaller than most people realize.

I look for this to be a close game, give UGA the edge at home but I would not be surprised if our State team prevails here.

Pretty much this. I am well aware that our offensive line is still a huge question mark and could make or break our season but it should be sufficient enough to win the East. I really don't see any excuses to losing more than 2 games as OP pointed out who we have returning.

I just don't get how UGA fans can gloss over the offensive line issues so easily. Take an average offensive line, and it will make any offense look average very quickly.

Last year should be a perfect example. You are bringing back all the same offensive weapons from an 8 win team. But there are no signs that the offensive line/ play calling will be better. That will determine whether UGA is winning the east or not. Because if those aren't fixed, any team in the SEC can beat you, as proven last year. Also, that road schedule is brutal.

Keep telling yourself whatever it takes to help you sleep at night baw

Nice win over us last year, but we beat you 7 times out of 10

UGA has always been a top performer in the SEC

10-2 I'll drive to Columbia to kiss Barry Odem and his whole staff in the mouth

9-3 Suprsing great bounce back year and very optimistic at where the program is going

8-4 The ceiling I expect. Glad there was a few surprise wins along the way. The program is in good hands.

7-5 Happy that Mizzou made improvements and optimistic about the future.

6-6 Happy about the improvement in record and being bowl eligible.

5-7 Pissed! Improved the record by one game but it's still a losing record. I want Barry Odom on the hot seat.

4 wins and below: Super pissed! frick Barry Odom. Fire is arse immediately.

No argument from me on this, we lost to Vandy at home last year, I know State could win

We will be favored and Kirby will catch hell if we lose that one though

Absolute floor is 7-6

8-4 is doable

9 or more wins is gravy right now
