What's the acceptable floor for your team in 2017? Your reaction to possible records?

For UGA, the floor should be 9-3 this year. 10 returning starters from a solid D, a QB in his 2nd full year as a starter, extremely talented at RB and in the 2nd year of the same coaching staff. The only thing that gives me any pause at putting the acceptable floor at 10-2 is the schedule. @ ND, @ UT, @ AU, @ GT, UF in Jax and @ Vandy is not an easy schedule away from home. Three big six teams, two other teams that beat us last year and ND.

9-3 - Pissed to the point that it would almost be unacceptable. This likely means a loss at home as a favorite to a team with inferior talent or 3 road/neutral site losses out of 6. Not good.

10-2 and win the East - I am satisfied with that. Likely means a loss to either AU/ND/GT and some other team that does not prevent us from winning the East.

10-2 and 2nd in the East - Disappointed. Not quite livid, but close. Likely means there was a crap the pants loss against somebody in the East.

11-1 or better - Clearly this would be fine.

8-4 or worse - I'm grabbing pitchforks.

The interesting thing is comparing that outlook to the Vegas o/u right now - has UGA at 8.5. -125o/-105u.

We haven't had more than 1 regular season loss in 7 years, so anything more than that would be disappointing I guess.

I like how even in unrealistic fantasy predictions people still pick themselves losing to Alabama

I have to have some realistic dreams. 12-0 regular season isn't realistic until saban retires.

Different D coordinator and better players. Even if he does have 500 yards... Fitzgerald will have 550 and 200 rushing yards.... so there's that.

For Auburn it's the Oct. 14th away stretch that worries me. LSU, Arkansas, bye, ATM. Those are some long away games against high powered offenses.

Anything's acceptable when you want your coach fired.

9-3 for me not wanting him fired, even though I wouldn't be happy.

Georgia is going to lose to Mississippi State. Going to be tough to go 9-3 when they do that

Yates MSU has two X Factors and more motivation. I expect Mullen to bounce back after they lose to LSU

Pretty much this. I am well aware that our offensive line is still a huge question mark and could make or break our season but it should be sufficient enough to win the East. I really don't see any excuses to losing more than 2 games as OP pointed out who we have returning.

Below or at 4 wins -BO is fired, cant wait for basketball
5 wins -BO gets one more year, can't wait for basketball
6 wins -This is the fan's floor, still disappointing, not in the cellar and say we got to a bowl, can't wait for basketball
7-8 wins -Optimistic that we can beat a few teams that most don't expect, basketball
9-10 wins -Will be concerned about Lock leaving a year early, fans actually disappointed we didn't win the east
East Champs- feels like 2013 could happen again with this team, we can make a final 4 in basketball

Agreed we should have at least a 10 to 11 win season. Not have a typical uga season. But meet the expectations

Miss St does not have better players than Georgia.

Also this is another chance for Georgia to stomp a mudhole in a Grantham defense.
