I watched most of the games and knew most of the starting lineup in 2004 (11 years old). By 2007, i watched every game and knew the backups and rotations. I started following recruiting in 2009

1978. I was a kid. Remember watching the UGA-GT game on TV. UGA was down 20-0. Came back to win 29-28, and I was hooked for life...

Been a Hog fan since I can remember, but really became die-hard around the Atwater/Martin days.

1963 when we moved to Alabama. Back then not all games were televised. ESPN was a transistor radio and listening to people call the scores in across the country while barbecuing in the back yard.

1983 at about 4 years old. Seriously. I remember a lot of the big games that season and watching the Sugar Bowl with my parents and their friends. I also remember my parents giving my grandparents sugar bowl tickets in a big box with two 5lb bags of sugar at my grandparents house on Christmas eve. I am amazed I remember stuff at that young an age but my parents and grandparents were AU grads as well as my aunts and uncles so everything about my childhood was about AU as well.

My parents took me to my first game at 2 years old and every home game after until I was probably 16-17. Then I started to school at AU and did not miss a home game my entire 5 years at AU.

Sometime in the mid 80s. Bobby Humphrey, D.T., & Cornelius Bennet were some of the first players I remember watching. I can remember losing to AU and Bo Jackson too.

How does this happen? How can you stop being a fan of a school and then start rooting for another school, especially one in the same conference. This does not compute.

Started following A&M in 1993, thanks in part to Leeland McElroy:

First Aggie game was the Jan. 1, 1994 Cotton Bowl loss to Notre Dame.

First regular season game was against LSU in Tiger Stadium in 1994, 18-13.

Enrolled at A&M in 1997.
