To each his own, but I'll stick with Arenas; all-time SEC career leader in both punt return yardage and TDs...and 4th in yards per return...

I just looked at this clearly trolling abomination of a list again.
Of the 26 best "All Time" players, I think there's 5 that played prior to 2000

First of all....Tebow would be QB...he is the incarnate of Bronko Nagurski...would run through brick walls and Im talking college not pro.
If we are talking about "all time"....most dont have a clue cause they probably never watched Wes Chandler # 89, he played for wishbone team that never had a decent throwing QB. He was btw the highest picked WR in SEC history in the pros but unforunately languished with the Saints who were horrible until traded to San Deigo but he wasted years at New Orleans. He simply was the best athlete on the field at any game.
Bill Stanfill (UGA) would be one of my picks at DE... Billy Neighbors of Bama would be in the mix on defense. Louis Oliver (UF) and Jake Scott (UGA) would be my top safeties.

You need to add Honey Badger

Yeah, I'm taking much of what he became in the pros into account.

DT: Nick Fairley
As an AU alum, I admit Fairley was a goddam beast.
But, also as an AU alum, I have to inform you that Nick Fairley couldn't hold Tracy Rocker's jock-strap.

Rocker = better coach, average recruiter
Garner = average coach, better recruiter
It was well known when Rocker was a coach on The Plains that he HATED recruiting.

I love The Smiling Assassin, and I can't believe I'm about to say this, but I might, MIGHT, take him over Eric Berry, maybe.
Ahhh, I can't do it. Even cancer didn't want to meet Eric Berry coming over the middle.
Atwater gets the backup spot for sure tho.

Wait-- are we trying to win in College? Because if we are I don't want Peyton anywhere near that team.

I don't know if anyone pointed this out or not, but Ozzie Newsome played WR at Alabama. He moved to TE in the NFL.

Berry was an absolute stud. Can't go wrong either way.

I was a toddler when Derrick Thomas played at Bama... so I don't recall him playing. I recognize he was very good, but I think when you compare it to today's players, it's debatable.
He played in an era where teams didn't throw the ball as much as they do know or even run as many plays but still racked up 52 career sacks. Just because you didn't watch him play doesn't mean he isn't an all-time great.

Atwater played before Arky was in the SEC...they were in the old Southwest Conference...

Mathieu needs to make it somewhere into that defense. Dude was a playmaker.
I'm not sure he even makes a list for the top 10 all time SEC DBs.
But a few that deserve consideration are Terry Beasley at WR, Marcus McNeil at G, Carlos Rodgers at CB, and on the third team Karlos Dansby at LB.
