I'm not. The "Fournette is a model citizen" narrative pushed by the LSU hagiographers on here was so overblown. The Alton Sterling t-shirt incident revealed a lot about his character to me. The biggest and most divisive story in his city over the last decade and he sunk to petty race baiting.
Then, he was woofing during games (most notably in the Bama game this year after getting drilled).
And, of course, showing his arse before the UF game yesterday and attempting a Willis Reed "Look at me, look at me!" moment and failing to deliver.
He's a horses arse, deal with it.

We'll see. He needs to be more patient and needs to work on his vision to find the hole but when 100% he clearly has the athleticism to be very good if he has a hole or gets open space.
He reminds me a bit of T Rich. If he gets into the secondary, then look out but his vision doesn't seem to be good. I really don't know what will happen if he goes to a team with a bad offensive line. He missed some openings versus Bama that made me wonder.
He hasn't been a bad kid and people crap on him because of the hype.
If he has a good career, then he'll be remembered for killing DB's. If he has a bad career, then it will be about crushing lesser opponents in college and being overhyped.

For making a huge mistake in not going to Bama.

A kid who loved LSU and Louisiana, made freakishly amazing plays, but was essentially the big game bob version of running backs. That's mainly on mediocre OL's and incompetent coaching than him though. He likely goes down as the best running back in CFB of the past decade had he gone to Alabama

Depends how he does in the NFL. If he struggle in the NFL then it will be that he struggled against top competition like Bama . If he does good in the NFL then people will over look those struggles and say he was a great RB. If he is lucky he will fall in the draft and get drafted by a good team.

Quitting on his team

Interestingly, speaking of beating Arkansas, a good analogue for how Fournette will be remembered would be McFadden. A great RB whose teams weren't good enough to elevate him to the true legend status he had the potential to achieve. (I speak only of college here -- I make no predictions about NFL performance.)
Except McFadden made it to Atlanta. And New York (twice).
1-2Nette wishes he had a fraction of that legacy.

Just another former LSU player who couldn't live up to his potential in college but rocked it in the NFL.

True, but that actually reinforces my point. He should have won the trophy in 2006. If he played for Florida, he would have.
(To clarify, I mean "...had he played for Florida for instance")

McFadden took the Ark team on his back all the way to Atlanta. He was a better RB than LF, who chocked when. It matters most.

To be fair, McFadden would have had a hard time running on these Bama teams. Those hog teams were like LSU. The QB play wasn't exactly good.
Fournette missed some holes this year but overall the offense was very predictable and didn't put players in position to succeed.

Two things:
1. This thread is as entertaining as it is brutal.

So the anti-Bama typical player right? Bust after bust at the next level?

Dude Fournette gets shite on on here constantly. Some of it deserved, most of it not.
If getting "shite on" is laughing and mocking the idea that he was good enough to lead you to anything better than 9-3, yes, he certainly gets shite on.

He's a RB. They still needed an offense.

Fournette is a douche. He is undisciplined and overrated as frick. He is a once in a generation "athlete" but he is just another good running back from a conference that churns them out like butter.

LSU had LF and Ben Simmons at the same time.
