Well the fact of the matter is USC finished the season in dominating fashion whereas Oklahoma looked like dog shite to end the year. USC lost in triple OT. OU lost by 28.

Not Georgia, because nobody alive remembers Georgia ever playing in a national championship game

But USC wasn't playing the same caliber of teams that Oklahoma was at the end of their season. Nobody touched Oklahoma until the Kansas St. game that they didn't have to win. People forget that. Oklahoma didn't have to beat Kansas St. in order to make it to the 2003 BCSCG. Plus Jason White, OU's QB, broke his hand in the 1st quarter of that game. I don't know what USC has to complain about. They won the AP national title without having to play against either LSU or Oklahoma. USC got to play a much weaker Michigan team in the Rose Bowl and it's still regarded to this day as a co-national title holder with LSU.

Nah, LSU got the crystal football and played in the actual National championship game. LSU will always be the real 03 champs

I don't know about that. I do know that Pete Carroll's USC teams never played a bowl game or any game against the SEC champions during his tenure

Those teams were awesome in big games. When the spotlight was on, they picked up their game several notches. It took a superhuman effort from Vince Young to beat them in a big one.

I think they would have rolled Auburn.

Didn't they both play Virginia Tech that year? USC to open the season and then Auburn play Va Tech in the sugar bowl? Both were very close games if I remember correctly.

I have never seen a team get their arse kicked in a national championship game like Fla did vs Nebraska. That was one of the most physical arse whippings I have ever seen in a college football game period. It was brutal.

That Nebraska team was the best college team ive ever seen. They wrecked a Florida team that was probably also one of the best teams ive ever watched

They were supposed to roll Texas too.
