Didn't TX have the ball with a chance to take the lead late in the 4th ?

Yeah, they got literally 1 play in this scenario. Sack/fumble recovered on like the 3.

And the year before I honestly don't know how the hell Oklahoma still got to play in the title game against LSU over USC when they got raped by K-State 35-7.

Because in 2003 USC lost to a California team that was also raped by Kansas St.

OU had such a commanding lead in the BCS standings that no matter what, they'd be a lock.

I agree with you on that. If Oklahoma was required to beat Kansas St. in the Big 12 title game then say so beforehand. Don't try and change the rules after the fact and that's what USC apologists have been trying to do for 13 years. I'm glad USC didn't get in.

Bama scored 1 td on lsu in 9 quarters of football. Tigers did not score a td. 2 great teams that year and maybe of any year

All the ones that Bammer won.

Seriously, the 13-2 OU - FSU game game was pretty bad.

The difference with that one though is LSU beat Bama that year. LSU was the most deserving team ever to be in the National championship beating the orange, rose, and eventual national champions during the regular season.

Glad we could accommodate you in November so that you'd be the most accomplished NCG runner-up in CFB history.

ND/BAMA game sucked arse, ND didn't belong on that field.

Wasn't that the year TCU was left out but should of been in it? That was a serious team. Not sure if they would of beat Bama that year but it would of been a lot better game than Bama vs ND was.

Yet OSU was a 4th seed that first playoff year and won it all. The number 1 seed has yet to win the CFP.

I have a feeling 1/9/12 is going to be brought up quite a bit.

I was going to go with this and as a fan it was definitely the worst but I think from an objective game standpoint the worst was probably USC over OU that was totally embarrassing for the Sooners

I mean they scored but it was a shootout that they lost by 36

2013 BCS title game Bama vs Notre Dame.... No way Notre Dame should have been close to that building. Much less playing in that game and ranked #1.

me and my buddy Bruce watching the pregame of the bama nd ship. nd walks out first and has to stop so bama can go out. When bama walked by them it was like the bully walking by the kid who he takes his lunch money from everyday. i said jesus they are scared to death. jokingly i said bama might win by 40. i was close.

The National Championship Gane between Bama and Texas was unwatchable after McCoy went down. Saban knew Texas had no shot at winning unless Bama turned the ball over so they played super conservative football and it was not easy on the eyes.

It was a 3 point game with 3 minutes left to play.

I vividly remember the first two plays of that game.

First play Eddie Lacy was stuffed for a gain of 1 yard "Alright, we may have a game here. Notre Dame's defense might actually be legit."

Second play play action to a wide open tight end for a gain of 30 or so yards "Notre Dame's fricked."

Alabama scored like two plays later.
