The Rant inherited the Dawg Rant message board when it folded. The tone here is the same as the tone there. Some UGA boards are less brash, others more.

They are filling the vacuum left by the Hog fans. South Carolina fans will fill the sucking void left by Georgia when they beat them. South Carolina will have a great year (10 wins) and reach the apex of their program and all will be restored.

Yes bro, in the last few days we've gotten a ton of newborns who are in awe of the new light they've been thrown in to. Over the long haul, 2 years or so, it's been the exact opposite. Arky fans were the WORST this summer. Bama fans are always cocky as shite, and MSU just grinds and grinds really hard (can't blame em).
We have a ton of new dumb posters who are really excited. It will die down, let it be dude, let it be.

When your biggest hero is/was your broadcaster and you have not won a NC in 32 years despite times of enormous talent, you tend to lose site on reality..which I guess all SEC fans do at times...UGA fans are pretty decent IMO, but they do have some misplaced complex about where they stand in the SEC over history..they are the 4th or so best program..and not close to the top 3...I do think they are going to win the east, but a loss to UF and or SC and they will be back to firing the coach when really they should fire the school pres...just imo

I live in Jawja and this has not been my experience. It's actually been a very tame fan base the last several years. If their oline holds up they'll be tough for anyone to beat.

Arky calling themselves the flagship was a joke, yes. But they talked so much shite for the last 2 years than any fan base on here.

I read this board to learn about UGA Football and get the perspective of UGA fans. Hopefully this board will become more about UGA sports and less about people being uncomfortable on a new site with unfamiliar rules.
For those who made to trek here and like what they see, I hope you stick around. We will be adding new features to accompany these team forums and make it a one-stop shop for info on your team.

This. Growing up in GA ive had to listen to it my whole life. Ive never seen a program think so higly of themselves yet are the most underachieving program in the SEC if not the NCAA.
