I'd say MSU due to their schedule.
Next TX A&M, I think their a year or so away.
Then comes Arkansas and Ole Miss.
LSU needs QB like most of the West.
Then AU and UA also depending on QB and defense.
It could be a fun season if each team can develop the positions of greatest need.
May all come down to officiating and turnovers.

LSU
Okay. I am really gonna shut up now. That was the last one today. I promise.

No Shot-
Ole miss
MSU
Arkansas
Tough road but can't count out
Bama
Good Chance
Auburn
Good Road
LSU
Tex Am
I really like AM chances this year, offense will be good, defense will be improved.
Their schedule really lays out nice, BAMA and AU at Home , and either a bye or a potential "easier" game or game they'll be favored before Ark, Bama, AU, and LSU.
And AM is gonna win it sooner or later, too much talent and good coaching. They could be sitting good.

In this order:
A&M
Ole Miss
Miss State
Arkansas
The west is the best division in the best conference in the country, and all 7 teams are talented. But my opinion is that A&M lacks a defense, Ole Miss lacks a power running game, State is not quite there with defense, and Arky is just not quite there. Arky will be much improved, but I don't see them winning the division.
LSU is stacked everywhere except QB and just needs adequate play to be a legit contender, Bama is Bama, and Muschamp will make a big difference on D for Auburn. 3 team race in my opinion with Auburn being a hair in front at this time.
But hey, it's the offseason and my opinion smells like shite.

Ole Miss.
They never win anything.

Arkansas has won two SEC games in two years. The only SECW team they have a shot to beat is A&M.

Anyone outside the state of Alabama
Posted on 5/21/15 at 11:45 pm to LSULyle00690
Missouri. I mean, they've only won one game against a team that finished outside the bottom 2 in the West, so...

aTm ... I just don't see how they are going to compete this year. Their team is garbage.

I would be shocked to see MSU win it. I'd be very surprised to see anyone other than Auburn or Alabama.

Shocked by anyone other than Alabama, Auburn, or LSU, since other than 4 times since the divisions were created one of these three teams have won the West, and in one of those 4 years Alabama actually won the west but was ineligible to play in the game.

So you must think MSU will do better then last year? I didn't realize that MSU was so loaded with talent and reloads like Bama . MSU lost over half their starters , the DC and they have less talent then almost every team in the west. But the play 3 of the better teams for last year at home so it's a upgrade over everything they lost. This year MSU plays Missouri from the east replacing Vandy . The schedule could be tougher this year unless the team is better. She be interesting to see your excuse why MSU finishes at the bottom of the west.

I would be shocked to see A&M win the west. I wouldn't be shocked if we win 10 because of our schedule. But I think Bama has the best shot at the west still. LSU would probably shock the most people.
