Is a pound of gold equal in value to a pound of poo? They both weigh a pound?

Eh, mid-tier schools like Arkansas and Auburn are always going to get shite from fans of top-tier schools like Florida, Bama, and LSU. We have been treated this way since we joined the SEC, which really bothered me at first because I was so used to consistent winning seasons in the SWC. But you take it in stride and keep your fingers crossed that you'll kick their asses in the upcoming seasons.

Facebook stalking high school boys isn't funny.

It's creepy.

Consider me the Amber Alert for the SEC Rant.

That's because you're ignorant to the situation on how i came about having a conversation with Dyer on FB.

My profile pic is the AU logo, that's it. Im assuming Dyer saw my logo on the instant messenger box and HE SENT ME a message saying "WDE"

of course i responded back and made the comment I hope you're working on Frazier. He replied, "done deal, by July"

I responded lOl WDE, that's it.

So STFU and know the facts before you assume the wrong thing and make an arse of yourself

Florida > Auburn. Recruiting to Florida > than recruiting to Auburn.

Malzie didn't produce great numbers against SEC teams last year. Only against the cupcakes did AU score in bunches and gain tons of yards.

But then again...it was with Chris Todd.

I think they averaged 457 yds/game, we averaged 435 yds/game.

IMO, that's just as good considering their talent level on offense compared to what we had.

I'd like to know how many offensive yards and points both UF and AU had against top 10 defenses. Without looking it up, I'd be willing to bet that UF done alot better against stiffer competition. However, that's not saying that Malzahn isn't a good OC because he is. I just think he needs more time and talent before comparing his offense to Meyer's.

Anyone making this comparision, needs to add a disclaimer that it is an impossible comparison due to the talent level for both teams last year. Chris Todd = Tim Tebow? Not exactly. It may turn out Gus is actually a better offensive mind before it is all said and done. I would not be surprised. I actually think Gus and Petrino are the top two offensive minds in the SEC right now with Meyer third.

I agree which is why I think this is a dumb comparison. However, given time and talent, Malzahn will have AU competing at a high level if he stays long enough.

UK-

UF = 41 points, 495 yards, 1 TO
AU = 14 points, 315 yards, 1 TO

MSU-

UF = 29 points, 366 yards, 2 TO
AU = 49 points, 589 yards, 0 TO

ARK-

UF = 23 points, 391 yards, 4 TO
AU = 23 points, 375 yards, 3 TO

UGA-

UF = 41 points, 374 yards, 0 TO
AU = 24 points, 353 yards, 2 TO

LSU-

UF = 13 points, 327 yards, 1 TO
AU = 10 points, 193 yards, 3 TO

Bama

Take from that what you will.

I agree. However, does anyone really think he will stay long enough? I don't know the guy well or anything but I would think he is one of the most likely guys in college football to get a job at a big school.

Wrong. AU averaged 21 pts, 332 yds/game, and UF averaged 13 pts, 335 yds/gm against 10 ten defense.

In other words, AU/Fl was pretty comparable last year. Even with UF having far superior talent.

There is a difference. If Malzahn proves that his offense will work in the SEc he will leave Auburn for a Head Coaching job.

I think that should be Auburn's biggest concern. I think his offense will work if given time. I think Franklins offense would have worked if he wouldn't have been working for a pussy that didn't have the balls to make his other coach's help the guy out.
