For SCAR, right now, I would imagine ... not withstanding that we all of us, each and every one of us, use the SEC as one of our major recruiting tools. Almost all the best athletes want to play in the SEC's top half of the league.
But for SCAR it goes like this and we're on a roll ...
1 - Recent success - a lot of energy in the program right now.
2 - A chance to accomplish a lot of firsts within the program and for the program.
3 - Spurrier
4 - NFL ... a lot of recent high profile draft picks.
5 - Fan Support - academics and majors athletes seem to like.
6 - Great venue and facilities which will continue to only get better.
7 - Every game on TV

Great food, friendly culture, hot girls, the best venue in college football, open carry, go cups, drive-through daqueries, free GM cars

Uh, hell, best I can come up with is "we're only about an hour away from Indianapolis"
Damned if I know how our coaches convince anybody at all.

For Midwest recruits:
Play in the SEC
Close to home
Relatives can watch you play often
First rate facilities
Great coaching
Loyal fan base
Easy women
Make sure you note that last one. E-A-S-Y women.

No mention of women or good bar scene, for good reason.

Those vices can be assumed. We are Kentucky, after all.

I've never understood this line to recruits. That's something the kid can do for you, not something you are doing for the kid. Or telling a kid they can "come help restore Tennessee".

State pride is a big thing in Texas. Kids grow up with that piece of jingoism, why not use it?

If you want to get to the NFL quick, go to LSU, be a backup, get drafted in the 5th round.

Strong Points:
1. Beautiful campus.

5. Uniforms/colors.
6. Placement of players in NFL.
Weak Points:
1. Small(ish) stadium (compared to SEC).
2. Small die hard fan base.
3. Uneven success over the years.
4. Weak (sometimes) game day atmosphere.

Not because we don't want you. UNC and UVA could be in the SEC tomorrow.
