That's how the system used to work, brah. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

And be jealous of Bama since you're LSU

What's there to be jealous of? The boring arse brand of football you play? How all of your coaches and players seem completely uptight and burdened? Your tree poisoning fan base? The way you bought Albert Means?

What is it?

If you'd like to discuss in person, we can, but I won't meet you at Krystal's...

You're so insecure bro. It's ok to accept that LSU is just a peon compared to Alabama.

Totally agree with most of that except that I think 2011 was hands down the best team in the Saban era here with 2009 slightly behind due to lack of a good qb. 2011 I don't think there were very many teams that could have played with bama and LSU. 2010 was up there talent wise, but lack of a qb and key injuries at multiple positions hurt us bad, but that is part of the game.

None of 2012/2013/2014 were not on the same level as our prior years IMO and head and shoulders above like Bama vs. LSU were in 2011 but we still were able to win a championship in 2012

The point is that even those superior teams needed good bounces and luck to get put in the position they ended up in and championships are very hard to win (which is what made 9-6 so difficult to take at the time because we knew that defense was a legit contender for one of the best ever and it was a shame to possibly waste it).

We have not had a good defense the past two years, but I finally think our back end talent is there again, just need experience. Offensive line has not been great in a couple years and we need to find a qb. Honestly with just an offensive line, we would quickly be a very scary team once again.

A Peon with more players currently in the NFL than your shitty school.

They weren't close to going to the title game. Yes they made the playoff but that game was a blood bath. If they continue to run the ball against ole miss last year, they easily win. And the defense 2 weeks ago really was playing soft with the 20 point lead. Almost prevent and let Bama get back in the game.
It's hard for some of us to take football analysis and critiques from a fan who's team has never even made it to the fricking SECCG.

And how does what players do after they leave relate to LSU's ability to win on the field?

I agree - I think what made both of those teams special is that they were dominant and significantly better than whoever the 3rd best is. It's very rare to have a truly dominant team. The fact that there were two in the same year ended up being bad luck for LSU.

CNS has a lot of coaches and players who feel they are entitled just because they are at Bama. Saban is a much better builder than a maintainer. I'm surprised he's stayed at Bama as long as he has.

Bama fans are sounding a lot like NegaTigers these days.

How many spots are you behind LSU right now in the polls?

I guess a better question is whether or not Alabama will still be ranked after this Saturday...

Bama won the SEC last season and was one game away from playing for the National Championship!

I think Nick needs to clean house and get fresh people around him.

No one established is interested in working with Nick. Don't worry though nick is about to leave and you can have a whole new staff then. Even the LSU fans will able to see just how easy it is to " maintain".
Do u think he will give you the proper notice or just bail on ya? That's about the only question that's left Larry.

Well considering the fact that we were told repeatedly that he'd only stay for maybe four years in the first place, I'd say we've had plenty of time to prepare for the inevitable.

Larry, you are a spoiled Bama fan. And that's bad when one of your own is calling you out on it.

We've been in the mix for the NC right up to the end of the season every year since 2008, with the exception of '10. There is not a fanbase in the country that wouldn't take that.

Exactly what I was telling him. Winning a national championship is hard. Just because it's been 2 seasons (only 2 seasons!!) doesn't mean people should be freaking out. Geeze

We'll be fine. We've got Saban.
