I understand tubby isn't folks favorite. I was just under the impression that started when he got to auburn. I'm ok with him pissing folks off for harmless antics prior to that. I was just curious because I, like you, don't remember anything from ole miss.

LSU fans are the ones to acknowledge that's tacky to, not me. i don't care that you did it. sort of auburn's mantra.

I actually started to like Tubby in his latter days at Auburn.

i really hated it that we didn't get to rack up a few more wins on HIM. least we got him last though.

I don't think you know what a mantra is.

It's just something that happens in sports that any fanbase would be upset about it.
I guess this is what my OP is getting at. Is this something that most other fan bases would still be upset about or is this something relatively unique to the psyche of LSU fans?

What's crazy is how the Auburn administration goes along with these types of things. Very few schools would allow their team to do this type of thing.

Wait, what?

You're telling me that this was a university sponsored and sanctioned sweaty football player cigar smoking event?

Well... I'll be damned. And all this time I just thought LSU fans were being menstruating nancy-boys.

Oh look, an aTm fan claiming he knows all about LSU fans when they've been in the conference for a year.

Why you in this thread anyway, aggy trash?

Yeah, I'm sure you felt the same way about Bear Bryant's comments about Auburn.

I think so. Sure, we do have a delicate psyche , but I think any fanbase would still be talking about it. But like I said, it's also storied because it was just one occurrence in a series of events that contributed to a great rivalry. As an isolated event, it may not have mattered as long as it has.

Would you get pissed if Les Miles Rolled Toomer's corner after LSU won?
