With all of these accolades why the hell is the LSU President publicly poor mouthing the financial situation within the LSU System?

He's steadily given doom and gloom scenarios about the future of LSU academics for months now. He said back in March that the projected budget reduction is so large that LSU would have to furlough damn near the whole faculty for and entire year. WTF?

Grandstanding. The LSU and UL systems are faced with the very real possibility of shuttering colleges which never should have existed, but good luck telling La Congressman Bumblefrick that the college in his hometown of bumfrickegypt, population 73 people and a hundred cows, is going to be closed because it's a financial drain.

I forgot about the HBCU system.

We shouldn't be funding a law school that has about a 5% pass rate on the BAR.

Get real Georgia, NOBODY in the SEC can brag on education except maybe Vanderbilt, so get real with that. One SEC college has something better than the other and vice versa, so get the fricking real!!!!!!

Might not have a choice.

Part of me wishes these cuts do go through. Let the most fit and deserving schools survive. Gut the rest.
