No one thought Bielema was going to line up and push Michigan and Ohio State around when he first got there, either.

Heres a question for u?

What if Hoke's "system" wins 3 games again this year?

BUT he isn't going to get the players to run it at Arkansas.

Aggie is stupid, Bret has recruited these lineman since he been here!

4* Reeve Kohler
4* Dan Skipper
4* Denver Kirkland
4* Frank Ragnow
4* Brian Wallace
4* Hunter Henry TE
4* Juco Sabastin Tretola

Plus 5* RB Alex Collins

But what do you expect from an Aggot!

I love Petrino as a HC...I'm not going to lie. These are the same conversations that were had about Petrino when he came on board. I think if you take an unbiased look across the board for the Arky program (HC, Staff, Recruiting) you will see that overall things are progressing very well.

Are we finishing at the top of recruiting in the SEC? No, and we never will. However, the overall talent being brought in, especially along the lines, is far to superior to what we've seen in the past. I think that if you look at a Sam Pittman or Randy Shannon you'll see two guys that are near the top in regards to coaching ability and recruiting as well.

Bert made some necessary changes defensively that I think will be the wildcard of the season. At this point nobody knows what the new guys will bring to the table, but it does appear that we will bring a VERY aggressive style of play. I think this is exactly what we needed to do, especially in a year with so many less experienced QB's starting for their respective teams.

Bert built a solid foundation in his first recruiting class with guys like Alex Collins, Denver Kirkland, Dan Skipper and Hunter Henry as guys that will be recognized at the end of the year for stellar play. We have a great class started for 2015 with several more 4* types of talent most likely coming on board.

I think you'll see some guys from the 2014 class also step up in areas that we were lacking, especially at WR as well as the LB spots. I wouldn't be surprised to see 3-4 freshman all-sec players. Do I want to rely on freshman? No, but if they are playing then they are better than the talent we currently had.

I think we'll average 8 wins a year probably after year 4 with the occasional year that we'll challenge the West which could lead to bigger and better things.

Only way Bert leaves before is year 5 is to have yet another 0-8 season followed up by another bad season after that.

I'm saying 7-5 this year which is optimistic but I think it's within reason.

What if Hoke

You would think a Meatchikin fan would have better things to fret over, wouldn't you?

Hoke 2011 = 11-2
Hoke 2012 = 8-5
Hoke 2013 = 7-6

He didn't push OSU around.

True...but appears to have been very competitive for the most part. OSU has always been loaded. Geographically, we should attract better players than Wisconsin

His recruiting classes at Wisconsin were always in the 50s, if I remember right.

He appears to be good at developing players. The Hogs were much better in their last few games. I think they'll make a Bowl this year. Their opener will be interesting.

How many starts between them? Compare that to:

4* Cedric Ogbuehi (30+ starts)
4* Mike Matthews (13 starts)
4* Germain Ifedi (13 starts)
4* Joseph Cheek
4* Zach Ledwik
4* Jermaine Eluemunor (JUCO)
4* Avery Gennesy (JUCO)
4* Keaton Sutherland
4* Connor Lanfear
4* Trevor Elbert
4* Jordan Davis (TE)

That doesn't include

3* Garrett Gramling
3* Koda Martin
3* Tank Davis
3* J.J. Gustafson
3* Cameron Clear (JUCO TE - 10 starts)
2* Jarvis Harrison (30+ starts)

As many starts as you listed with the same * power. You've got a a few more guys and it would take injuries for those guys to see the field

Pretty even I would say. You lost your chances with Missouri recruits. Lsu and a&m are taking the Texas recruits with UT coming behind them. Lsu and bama take up the talent pool in louisiana. Y'all are pretty screwed geographically.

Yes

I'll give you credit for pulling the linemen, we will have to wait and see about the qb y'all picked up.

Another fine example of no one being able to have a legit conversation with Arkansas fans.

You were proven wrong bro, you don't know what you're even talking about. Why would anyone want to have a conversation with you?

You said we "lost our chance" with Missouri recruits. That's ridiculous. Wallace was down to Arkansas and Bama, Peavey had offers from everyone in the country.
