The fact is...Ron Dayne was the only fatass RB to play in Wisconsin since 2003.

Bert turned 3*'s into monsters and Melvin Gordon was one of the fastest RB's in the nation...similar to what Korliss Marshall brings to the table.

We can win plenty of games with our RB's provided Allen doesn't go full potato.

Here are our FB's/RB's without Juan Day and Korliss Marshall...The fatass's are FB's:

Bruh the OP has so many fallacies it isn't even funny. He isn't interested in facts, only trying to flame Arkansas.

If anything I think the problem is not that he's not a good coach. It's that his style is big boy football and he's not at a big boy program. He's at a disadvantage trying to out muscle schools like lsu and bama, he will never get a Henry or a fournette, he won't get the Olineman or Dlineman other big boys want. Hell the best running back to come out of his state since dyer is riding the pine at bama. He will have to do more with much less to beat the Lsu, bama, auburn, and A&M teams. Then he still has to deal with ole miss and Mississippi state just to finish anything but 7th in the sec west.

Petrino had a high flying offense that relied on out scheming his opponent and throwing the ball around looking for advantages against better athletes. Bert is trying to over power them

You're a blown coverage from losing last season at Tiger Stadium

Does he need too?

Research much?

And that means what? Considering we pulled a 5* from Florida in the same year

He sent more players to the NFL during his last 4 years Wisconsin than miles sent from LSU. He's either a better recruiter/talent evaluator than miles, or he's way better at developing talent than Miles. He will win here but it will take time. We almost beat LSU last year when we were a shite show. We should be improved at every position this season. I doubt you guys make it out of Fayetteville with a win.

2 1000 yard rushers his first year in the SEC is not a complete offensive failure either.

Believe it or not, Bielema actually has the same amount of QBs in the NFL as Petrino (If you give BP credit for Mallett you have to credit BB for Russell Wilson)

But I guess he doesn't care about them

Ignorant.

You have no more evidence of anything you state here, than I have of you being a booger-eating serial masturbator.

You might be full of crap:

4* lineman to push the pile

4* Brey Cook
4* Dan Skipper
4* Denver Kirkland
4* Brian Wallace
4* Frank Ragnow
4* Reeve Kohler
4* Rich Smothers

So we can't recruit lineman? We also have a 5th year senior transfer to add along with Tretola.
All of these young men were highly recruited!

Honestly its kind of weird that he ever came to the SEC- jumping ship to go to what most would consider a lower tier Football school is odd (seriously, compare Wisconsin and Arkansas football over the last 20, 25 years its not even all that close), he basically pulled a Mike Sherman.

Im sure we would look a lot better if we were playing in the big 10.

At worst the jobs are equal. Arkansas has better facilities, a better recruiting ground and can pay more. Wisconsin wasn't much before Alvarez.

Bielema's system only works in a conference where his big fat offensive line doesn't have to deal with agile, defensive athletes. This means that once Hogland has enough of the shitshow, he'll bolt back to the Big ten or the Acc.

Bret is holding out for Kirk Ferentz to retire at Iowa so he can return to his alma mater.

At least his OC is pass-happy. Chaney will throw on 3rd and inches.

THIS

1,000 times THIS.

Bert shouldn't've ever been considered, much less hired. It's just dumb on its very face.

Look at it logically. Bert runs a power football offense. Old school, big boy, downhill running. That's fine. That's great. It works; hell, I actually prefer it, BUT he isn't going to get the players to run it at Arkansas. The elite o line and backs he needs much, much prefer to play at Bama, LSU, and the King of Offensive Line NFL Production: A&M. So he's going to battle directly against the strength of SEC defenses, which is stopping the run, with 2nd tier players. Super. Basically, he's Frodo Baggins and his plan to beat Ivan Drago is to trade punches with him! Sounds like a winning plan! Petrino said, "hey, why punch a brick wall?" and deployed a system that found and exploited weaknesses in his opponents by going over, around, and misdirecting them. That's the only way Arkansas is going to be successful moving forward, because they aren't beating the more advantageously located programs for recruits.
