The general consensus among aggy last time was that aTm is stacked at qb, so JFF leaving is a non issue. They also have the best recruits coming in on both sides of the ball and will be better on defense next year as well. If you don't think aTm will be better next year than this year, you are in the minority.

My God, you just make shite up! I admire you for sheer shameless gall!

It's the Randolph Duke-esque talking points that gave the guy away. Poor fricker can't cope with his current predicament.

They plug in a new QB and keep on doing what they do. They may not win 10 a year but 8 is reasonable. They wont just fall off the face of the Earth like people predict.

I liken it to what Hawai'i went through from Chang to Brennan.

For all we know, Sumlin might be hiding another bombshell surprise for us to deal with, next year.

No one knew who Manziel was in August, 2012.

LOL sorry about that....

I still can't believe that a Manziel was a 3-Star prospect out of HS....Guess you really do never know about the ratings system....Most exciting college football player of all-time- and he had countless others "rated" above him.

Yeah there are countless examples of this if I remember correctly Mizzou's Michael Sam was only rated a 2 star and look at what he's done. I think kids from small high schools get underrated a lot because of the perceived lesser competition

We did in 2010. When a guy scores 75 touchdowns in one season (45 passing, 30 rushing) of 4A Texas HS Ball, it's hard to miss.

Aggy played your arse by moving to the SEC. Dodds albatross LHN sucks and your shitty conference is irrelevant outside of one game. Regardless of our success, Texas has been bent over. And you're scrambling to become relevant.

The rating systems are good for gauging the over-all quality of a team's talent, but generally suck on an individual basis. Too many factors involved with each player, but more likely than not, a team loaded with 4- and 5-star talent is going to perform much better than a team loaded with 3-star talent.

Then, there's the sips. They have/had a recruiting "guru" by the name of Geoff Ketchum (Rivals) who would consistently manipulate star ratings in favor of sip commits, and deliberately against A&M commits in an attempt to manipulate the public sentiment toward A&M as a program and frame the narrative. Such behavior is WELL DOCUMENTED.

They have since realized that doing so makes Mack Brown look like a horrible developer. There was also the whole "Mack didn't offer" and "pre-approved for an approval, to approve an offer" nonsense to prove to the world that the sips didn't lose a head-to-head recruiting battle with A&M. They've backed off that recently too (because they want to get rid of Mack Brown, likely).

All of these shitty, dirty, bullshite tactics always give me pause about any one site's rankings. But, no team has one the NC without consistent top 10 classes.
