How many times has UGA went winless in league play in that time frame?
Auburn?
I'm curious to find this out as well.
Has Auburn ever had back to back 10 win seasons?
Just looked it up. Once, i think. 1988 and 1989.

Oh noes, a bunch of anonymous people on an Internet message board don't want to claim me. I am really devastated. Meanwhile you fit in perfectly with the rest of the Georgia tards on this board

Um, a good portion of the country thought Auburn deserved the 1983 championship, including the New York Times.
Auburn dominated Florida who beat Miami that year. Miami jumped from #5 over Auburn because of a last second win over Nebraska in their home stadium in the Orange Bowl. Most people were shocked they jumped all the way to #1 over Auburn. 1983 Auburn was immensely more talented than 1983 Miami and would have put it to them head to head on the field.
Your SOS argument for 2004 is an obvious troll if you actually know the facts. Auburn was scheduled to play Bowling Green who was a good mid major at the time. Bowling Green backed out of the game a month before the season to play Oklahoma because their ADs were friends. Auburn had to scramble at the last possible second to find an opponent and could only find The Citadel to schedule. If Bowling Green hadnt backed out of the game at the last minute then Auburn's SOS would have been high enough to jump Oklahoma in the BCS. Everybody knows Auburn was better than Oklahoma and should have been there. In hindsight we now know that not only should USC have been ineligible for the game, but Auburn was actually a more talented team with more and better NFL players than USC who at the time was thought to be one of the most talented teams ever

Ummm....you DO realize you are an anonymous poster on an internet board, right? If their opinion doesn't matter why do you think yours should?

Yes. You've been the most successfully underachieving program in that time period, if that is what you mean by successful.

Yes, why can't Auburn have any form of sustained success? No wonder AU was not given the benefit of the doubt in 83 and 04. Perhaps if they had better seasons in 82 and 03, they would have started those seasons ranked higher. Instead OU and USC stayed ahead of them all year due to their failure to have sustained success.

It is laughable that Arkansas fans are talking smack in this thread. A football program that has lost more games than they have won against SEC teams since joining the conference

Seriously? Wow. People thought you should get it so you claim it? Hate to tell you this, but you have to earn it on the field.

So, now. I'm glad that settles it. Since you think Auburn would have won you shouldn't have to play for it, right? For now on, we should just give Auburn all the titles they think they should get. I mean, their opinion is what counts, right?

By this same logic, Auburn has never had back to back 10 win seasons since we now know those wins during those years were with ineligible players by NCAA bylaws.

Laughable? YOU are belittling Arkansas? I guess because Auburn dominates, Arkansas, right? you are so superior?
I believe Auburn leads that series 13-10-1. Odd that Auburn is talking so much smack.
