I am not sure what you are arguing about anyway, the national championship Auburn won in 2010 matches the total Georgia has in their entire history in the AP and coaches poll

Georgia has gone 32 or 33 years without even having a legitimate argument for even playing for a national championship. During our drought from 1957-2010, Auburn can at least make a legitimate argument that we deserved a chance in both 1983 and 2004 and were robbed out of that opportunity both years
Under that criteria UGA could argue 2007.

I agree with the Georgia fan. When you move the date back to 1980, things change dramatically.
The Big Six looks like this:
Alabama: 7 SEC titles, 4 national titles
Auburn: 7 SEC titles, 1 national title
Florida: 8 SEC titles, 3 national titles
Georgia: 5 SEC titles, 1 national title
LSU: 5 SEC titles, 2 national titles
Tennessee: 5 SEC titles, 1 national title
So if you really want to be trollish and picky, there really has only been a Big 2 (Alabama and Florida) when you take national titles and SEC titles into consideration.

They really did get screwed in 83. Clearly had the best sos.

You are dealing with a fan base that threw toilet paper on trees to celebrate the passing of the Bear.

Well yeah you're in the little 8

but I'm pretty sure UGA wouldn't be the team first kicked out of the club
Who would be ahead of them? Tennessee has had a rough stretch but the other 5 members besides UGA all won a BCS NC

How funny that your arbitrary date starts the day Auburn began winning.
It didn't. That date started UGA's decline from being a successful, nationally competitive program up until the present. Auburn winning has nothing to do with it as far as this topic. Auburn just happened to have won after the fact. This thread is NOT about Auburn.

Also dealing with a fan base that consistently loses 5 games a year and jumps up one in every 4 or 5 years to run the table and win an SEC championship.

Probably boston college. Oh wait are we still talking about things that aren't happening? There isn't going to be any big 6 purge, so who would be first out is irrelevant. There are the big 6 and everyone else.

So the only thing that counts is 1998-2014? Got it.

You continue to show what a fricking moron you are. They have no argument for 2007 when the two options were either Georgia and LSU and the latter was the conference champion. Ohio State was in over both since they had a better record than both of them

Actually I was mad they didn't get the chance. But for the purposes of this thread, it seems rather crappy to pull out the we could, shoulda, woulda. Shoot, even if they had played for the natty they can't say they would have won. Auburn acts like a bunch of whiney little girls, someti....all the time.

We haven't been successful between 1983 and 2014? We've been one of the winningest programs in college football during that time.

Auburn is clearly least of the 6

I can see why you wouldn't want it to be.

How many times has UGA had back to back 10 win seasons in that time frame?
Auburn?
How many times has UGA went winless in league play in that time frame?
Auburn?

Come on Dale, apparently this isn't about the Auburn frauds
