IMO, CMR now has a relatively narrow window to shite or get off the pot(3 yrs. IMO cause we love him). He needs a SECC at minimum & hopefully that should get him a CFP slot in the next 3 yrs. Recruiting has been ramped up, Pruitt is a beast, Schotty is supposed to be one. The money, the personnel & the support is there 100%...

Agree completely (not certain on Shotty tho).

Wait, what? Are you saying Athens is all white people?

Clearly he's never made the trip over.

seriously. Outside of the UGA camps, I believe ACC is one of if not THE poorest counties in the state. News flash; it's not the poorest county in the state because of all the white people there.

I'm sure a venture into bethel homes, or really any neighborhood more than 2 miles removed from campus/downtown would show people real quick that there are plenty of minorities in Athens.

In all honesty...I kept wondering when you guys were going to ramp it up and make your come back. That's why I think you will have an excellent team this year. You have the talent...it was a matter of breaks going against you, then the team seemingly losing their fire.

so when you lose to UGA it's because you had already mailed it in?

Huh, I didn't know that was a valid excuse. I guess we can now explain away 13, 10, and 01.

Sounds like UGA might be on the way to ATL on a regular basis

If we make it this year, we will have been to ATL half the years CMR has been coach...I would say that's fairly regular in the SEC...most of them were when the East was good too.

Also, 3 years ago we were 4 yards away from winning a MNC...Injuries and schedules have hurt us the last 2 years. Opening with a top 10 team, then playing a favorite to win the East in week 2, having a road game every year vs Florida and finishing with another Power 5 team is something no other team has dealt with in their championship run

Actually it is. Southerners are incorrigible at times. According to city-data.com, in Athens-Clarke a little over 20K white residents are living in poverty compared to just over 10K who are black. You continue to look at housing projects and conveniently forget about trailer parks.

4 yards and a whole entire game, but don't let facts or anything dumb like that get in your way

Kinda like y'all were up by 4 & a 1:19 left in the BCSCG vs FSU & they went 80yds in 66 seconds... And AU choked it the frick away...

We came up just short... AU choked it away... hmmm, which was worse in your opinion??

Um no, you didn't come up just short. You didn't even make it to the championship game. Coming up just short would be losing in the last 13 seconds of the actual championship game like Auburn did. It's laughable that UGA fans just act like its some foregone conclusion that they would have beat Notre Dame. You were blown out by South Carolina and gave up 31 points to a mediocre Nebraska team in your bowl game.

To answer your question what happened to UGA is much worse. At least Auburn won the SEC championship and made the National Title game.

And yet you guys want to claim close on a couple of times where you did not make the championship game. 2004 ring a bell?

I'm sorry. I forgot. It's ok for Auburn to claim it...just not ok for Georgia.

They still won the SEC both years (and the Sugar in 04).

Uga fans are so touchy! OK you beat AU, but win a championship and then talk. 4 yards short is a laugh. I remember when Uga people weren't whiners and didn't make excuses for not winning championships -- wait -- that was when they had an Auburn grad as HC and DC. Must be that FSU influence now

Makes sense seeing as this is a troll thread by a former UGA fan

It’s obvious you didn’t learn to write, but hopefully you can read this.

Is that how an Auburn fan feels when they go to work and their boss is a UGA grad? Asking for a friend. Thank you in advance

Once again, completely different situations that are laughable for you to compare.

In 2004 Auburn went undefeated, actually won the SEC championship, and earned the right to compete for a national championship. Even to argue to claim the title.

In 2012 UGA lost two games and didn't win the national championship. Your argument is about if UGA had been able to finish a game and win instead of lose, only then you could have had a shot.

2012 Georgia came up short. 2004 Auburn was left out. If you can't comprehend the difference then that UGA education must not be worth what you claim it is.
