Ole Miss couldn't run the ball worth a damn and essentially gave up on it early. When you don't have a mobile quarterback to keep the defense honest, you're gonna be heavily restricted in your playcalling.

Lord the ignorance on this board. Freeze in an interview said he had changed all of the calls this season because of the Bama hire. None of the signals were the same. Y'all grasp at anything you can and now your players are making excuses for getting embarrassed on offense.

This. Our offense is still very limited bc Bo is not the QB we want but the QB we have. High school arm strength with a wind up that makes Tebow cringe.

He is serviceable against mediocre to good teams but he will never be responsible for beating a really good/great defense

I don't think many fans who actually know anything about football really believe Siskey had any meaningful impact on last nights game.

Considering Manziel calls the plays at the line now, it wouldn't have made a difference against A&M.

He was told by coach McKinney "run it every down until they stop it" in the 2nd half.

Is anybody comparing Moncrief to Evans now?

Y'all sure do bail on them quickly. I though that Bo (Bro) was the greatest since Eli (according to OM posters here).

An apples to apples comparison would be to compare Moncrief to Kennedy and Treadwell to Evans if you want to compare WR of like sizes and abilities.

He's right behind Snead IMO. Snead had the better physical tools easily though.

Even if you discount Snead it's not really a stretch when you take into consideration the garbage that we've had lineup under center in the last 10 years

I stand corrected.

Ole Miss doesn't have a receiver as big as Mike Evans. I think Moncrief is better than Walker and Kennedy. (Walker is 6'2 and Kennedy is 6'0 even)

"Breaking News - Bama cheats"
--------------------------------------------------

Do you really think that Alabama had to cheat to kick that Ole Miss arse? Alabama is 52-8-2 against the poor bastards!

Evans is an incredible physical specimen at WR.

Moncrief should be a more accomplished receiver but he has Bo under throwing him at every possible chance. We will miss him greatly next year

Ole Miss' play calling was so predictable that our cheerleaders were chanting what play they were gonna run as they came up to the line.

If Mike Evans stays, the tandem of Evans (6'5" 225) and Ricky Seals-Jones (6'6" 240) will make any QB look good.

Wasn't Siskey hired in April?

ETA: Moncreif is just pissed he was owned by a true freshman.

why would a coach from a previous year know your current play signal?
