LMFAO.

Ole Miss fans believe that we hired someone for the sole purpose of stealing their plays...which WE DON'T HAVE TIME TO SCHEME AGAINST BECAUSE THEY RUN THE HURRY UP.

You can't make this shite up.

Because studying game tape to actually cheat and paying a "traitor" hundreds of thousands of dollars a year to give you an advantage in a single game where you're easily favored against a team that hasn't beat you in almost a decade aren't quite the same things. If this had been against, say, LSU, I could almost see the logic, and even then I'd be extremely dubious, but we're talking about a perfectly normal situation where a coach goes from one job to another and behaves in no way that could be considered unusual...especially given that Ole Miss runs an offensive scheme that specifically contraindicates easy relaying of last-second defensive formations from the sidelines.

How does Alabama have time to respond while Ole Miss is HUNH?

That this guy was hired to have an edge up on Ole Miss by knowing their calls?
Yes.

Ole Miss sure didn't mind when Danny Nutt was "illegally coaching."

Freeze is as dumb as he looks if he kept the same signals for a guy who was the Coordinator of Recruit Development to steal.

Oh yea, like NO coach would go to another team and use what he knows to help beat previous team. "Oh no coach Saban, I would never tell you what the tendancies are for Ole Miss, NEVER". Heck yea he did it. They talked all week about how McElwain knew Sabans plan on defense having gone against it in practice for years.

My goodness, just when you think people can't find another excuse as to why they lost. Maybe this one is above all. Nobody just gets beat, it's some outside force.

Exactly. The whole point of the HUNH is to not give the DC time to call any play. Not to mention trying to steal signals, relay that down to the DC, then have the DC call the play. Just OM homers and bitches like Moncrief and Bo Wallace who are having to eat crow after promising fireworks and then getting shut out.

Even if Alabama somehow had time to steal signals, relay that down to Kirby, and then call a play against the HUNH, I say good for Saban. If you try to take advantage of the rules and run a gimmicky no huddle high school offense while using pictures to call plays, other teams are going to be gimmicky on defense, fake injuries and try to interpret your pictures.

They even mentioned it during the broadcast. Nessler said he had been helping Alabama's defense all week in game prep for the Ole Miss offense.

Freeze got burned for running the same 5-6 plays every drive, you can't do that against a Saban led defense.

If we were going to do that for any team I would expect it to be aTm or even LSU. Ole Miss would have been the least of my worries compared to a couple of other teams.

When the color commentator knows what plays Ole Miss is going to run, I think Saban and Smart have a good idea, too.

Best post of the thread. The HUNH can work, but you have to be creative and call a lot of different plays or have a freak of nature at QB like JFF who creates his own plays halfway through a play.
