While that's true because of the SECN and the recent MNC run by 5 of the Big 6, they still hold sway. If MSU or Ole Miss wins the playoff, I might change my mind.

Have you watched Dak? He's the best player I've ever seen and I've been watching football since the Bear was a Wildcat.

Nothing he has done has been extra special other than make State a legit team, which, should be an award in itself.

You're crazy. He has like 33 touchdowns and is destroying national powers on the road. Hershel wouldn't rush for 100 against this year's Vandy team. You see, Dak is timeless. Not just some flash in the pan tPOS like Hershel Walker.

I'll say this. If we win the SEC but somehow lose the national title, he may very well leave. If we win the natty, he's here until he decides to retire in 20 years. If we win neither, he will stay because of his ego. He said he would win a championship here and I don't think he will leave until he does it.

He'll probably pull a "Saban" and make people think hes leaving but, he wont. He's been working to hard to make State a contender and he won't leave it all to start again at another failed program IE: Florida.

While the days of coaches automatically jumping at better jobs are lessening it isn't impossible to see Mullen going to Florida. History has shown us that MSU will be competitive every 3-5 years. This years team actually has the potential to be special. It is unlikely that could be sustained. I don't care for Mullen but I will give him credit for what he has done in his 6 years at MSU. It is impressive.
