who has worse hair color, Brando or Barnhardt? I think they definitely do it themselves out of box from a drug store. If I am in front of a national audience, I'm getting that shite done by a pro.

Les Miles has the worst hair out of any of them at certain times of the year when it is red.

It is usually around Signing Day when it is the most red, for some reason.

I hear what you're trying to say. If he was just Tony Barnhart or his name was "Mr. I'll Give You A Brief Synopsis On Some SEC Teams" then I think our opinions and perspective about him would change. But if you're going to go by "Mr. College Football" and advertise yourself as some master authority, then you better bring something in depth to the conversation.

I'm of the opinion that a lot of the media who cover the SEC know a lot more than they let on as far as stuff that goes on behinds the scenes. They just choose not to talk about it because they don't want to piss off the teams they cover, their sources, or the fans that visit their site.

Now, does he know more about Georgia, Tennessee, and whatever team Spurrier is coaching than others?

Barnhart hasn't watched USC play a game, unless it was against UGA (in which case UGA never *really* lost), since '07.

He knows dick about Spurrier or South Carolina.

most people don't read forums and blogs about sports so they don't know the things he is talking about.

Well, scratch that then.

He just talks about Spurrier all the time like they are good friends.

Exactly right. I am not just trying to give him a hard time. 14 teams is apparently too much for him to keep up with. No big deal. Just make him the SEC East guy and stop acting like he is a college football or SEC expert. I never learn anything from him and it isn't because I know everything. He just provides little actual insight that I haven't already gotten by perusing this board a few times a week casually.

Generally analysis from people who have never played the game in any level of competition have little to no clue about what they are talking about. That's my take on a lot of those guys. McElroy is probably the most informed person in the SEC right now. Tebow still sucks too much UF dick for me to listen to him. Tony Barnhart probably anointed himself "Mr. College Football". I've never considered him an expert. I guess he might be appealing to casual listener.

I like Tony well enough, but I agree he doesn't tell me much I don't already know

I hear him a lot in ATL and he blows smoke based off reputations and what a team did last year. He rarely hits a home run and IF he does it is blind luck
