You are fricking obsessed with our mascot. It's weird.

ETA: Not reading this whole thread, but OP, is that grammar serious? Or are you just trolling?
Please be trolling...

people have been saying this before every single season he's been at LSU

Please disregard the OP's grammar and answer the question. I am genuinely interested in the response.

I was on my way out the door earlier. Personally, I genuinely like Les Miles. I think he's a great guy, and his players love him and play hard for him. That being said, he is seriously retarded sometimes.

Well this thread went much better than I expected and apparently "LostLettermen I feel like if Les Miles planned D-Day, the troops would've landed on the shores of Spain and still won WWII" is the best one-liner of the day. Good deal.

Goofy bastard. Funny pressers. Decent coach. Ballsy and doesn't have a care in the world, which makes him great and horrible at the same time. Can't think of another coach like him.

Thought he was great until he fricked over Lee last year. Now I think he is a good coach but a shitty person. I don't have alot of respect for him.

Based on what is known I get that. There may have been reasons for his actions that we don't know. But I understand what you're saying.

there are some gems in this thread

lucky - sorry, luck does not win in the toughest division of the toughest conference in america. look at his record. it ain't luck.

wins despite himself - against sec coaches? laughable

wins on talent alone - like 20 year old players just coach themselves into beating bama in tuscaloosa when saban is on top of his game

bad person (because of jarrett lee situation) - every story about the guy's activities around town is that he's an exemplary and generous citizen

bad time management - only happened in a couple of games (2010 tenn, '08 ole miss) over 7 seasons. that's a very good record.

people who say these things don't realize that even saban, petrino and corch have lost games they should have won and won games when the opposition made unforced errors.

Back in 2007 I thought he was a terrible coach. I was at the Bama vs LSU game and it was like watching a pro team vs a 2-A college team and LSU barely pulled out the win. They had more talent on that team than in a very very long time.

You do realize that in 2010 , Saban had more talent on that team , than almost every other team in history, AND LOST 3 games. You can't win every game, even with superior talent.

You're dumb if you think a "goof" can reach Miles' record.

This myth needs to die. As of a coach can be lucky for 7 years.

1. BP would've never had the talent Miles has because he recruits like shite and all his national story lines are negative.
2. We lived off of defense and special teams last year. BP couldn't field a good defense if his life depended on it.
3.you arky fans have built BP up to be this great coach when he has accomplished nothing.
