Before the season when we replaced both our OL and DL, an insider warned that it was a historically bad OL and that the guys didn't have the physical strength/were undeveloped to even play. There was a rather terrifying benchpress listed for at least one of the players. They warned OL would be an absolute disaster and they were right. I thought it would be a rough year for the OL but not second to last in FBS rough.

Now the worst left tackle ever (our OL was so pathetic that he was forced to play out of position his true freshman year) is on the Rimington watchlist as a center.

With the shitty timing, what other option did they have besides Bobby's brother?

Even though he lost, at least he left a decent squad for the next guy, well not the O line, but a talented roster nonetheless. Particularly on defense. Could have been much worse.

That Joker Phillips would keep the ship on course and that Billy Gillispie wasn't a drunken buffoon.

Either way it works out we need to revisit this topic in a year or two regarding Lyle

I think UGA fans also owe some of the South Carolina fans on here an apology for buying into Greyson Lambert being the next great QB at UGA after he owned a bad South Carolina defense. They tried to tell you guys it had more to do with their shite defense but you guys didn't listen.

I just can't make up my mind about Lyle. Some of the stuff he's done has been great, sometimes I wanna throw a brick at the motherfricker.

I just can't buy in yet.

Well to be fair, he set an NCAA record that probably won't be touched for a long, long time and put up stats that would hard to do against air in warmups.

But yeah...that definitely played a part. Was just about all downhill from there :/

Yea with 2 more first rounders in this last draft

Probably 2 more next year we've had a shite load of first round picks from that side of the ball that muschamp had a hand in I will give him that

Everything to do with offense tho was a disaster not just the offensive line

Wide receiver for example he left a ton of bums and Demarcus Robinson

Even Robinson wasn't that great a true freshmen in Antonio Callaway made him look like a bum

I just had to look it up because I almsot didn't believe it.

I had no clue yall went 3-9 last year. I thought it was like 6-6 or something. Usually with 3 win seasons like auburns in 12 or bamas in 00 you hear a lot about it but gee whiz that had to have been the quietest 3-9 season I can remember.

Swallowed by flood news, Spurrier leaving, and the success Clemson had IMO.

Wasn't quiet for us
