What did LSU do different last night offensively from the Les miles days?

I saw nothing different last night, just a bunch of running the ball between the tackles with the play action pass once the defense started cheating toward the run
Yet LSU fans are acting like Matt Canadas is a messiah who single handedly reinvented college football offense and is already guaranteed to win coordinator of the year
There was also never any pressure on the LSU offense because of the BYU offense not producing anything

First game in a new system, a bunch of young and inexperienced players and an opponent we didn't need to get fancy to beat.
Stick to regaling the OT with threads about how you failed to sleep with a woman until your mid-20s.

Well they had motion and mostly got lined up on time
Last year they had zero motion and still couldn't get a play in time
Watching Les as announcer I have seen the delay

Quicker tempo and more motion. The motion looked tacky but caught BYU a few times.

Let's be real we all know Bama is going to shut this offense down

Canada didnt have to open up his playbook AT ALL. Hes already came out and said he used about 10% of his play sheet for the game. If you're dominating the game with bland offense then just keep doing it. We showed future opponents absolutely nothing.

I don't think showing your hand against inferior competition is very smart. JMHO

What Canada did was look at his teams ability and how it matched up with BYU then make a game plan. Les just had the same game plan every game every year. I predict the LSU offense will look different from week to week. Plus, Canada knew all he had to do was play a vanilla playbook to dominate time of possession while the D dominates. He had a great plan and his players executed it flawlessly (minus some penalties) without giving up much of his playbook.

What was different?
How about not struggling with an inferior opponent.

We only used 10% of the playbook

Let's just say that for the sake of argument here that Ole Danny Boy Etling can air raid the hell out of it. (He can't. We all know that but that doesn't mean he can't be good enough to pass when needed in the future) why would you let future opponents know that right now when a basic offense was good enough to put up almost 500 yards of offense on the team you played? A dominant running game (if it's working) will ALWAYS be a better game play strategy because it allows you to control the flow of the game. It lets your defense rest and wears out the opponents defense far faster than an air raid offense ever could.

Guy that supposedly walked on at TCU saw no difference between last year and last night.
You are seriously the worst poster on this site.

They did what every team that played an inferior opponent did. Didn't use the whole playbook.
