I'd say booze, but I can't make it thru 5 minutes of a Mizzou basketball game without it.

Fast food and soda. Seems like a way to guilt myself into giving up something I out to give up anyway.

Same boat. I'm giving up fast food, soda and desserts, even though I'm not Catholic. I'm just die hard about Mardi Gras and it being the true start of my year.

It was nice when I was down at Mardi Gras, that people were asking if I'd lost weight. When in reality, I've gained 15-20 pounds over the last year when working in Texas and recovering from an injury. So at least I'm not back to my fastest.

as a Birmingham Catholic this is the first time lent has come around and I haven't given up anything

you know that scene in Parks and Rec where Andy looks super skinny and he jokes that he just stopped drinking beer and that he was probably drinking way too much beer?

I gave up alcohol for one lent and lost 22 pounds
