I hope you are joking right? They have one of if not the biggest football budgets in college football. He has what? 50 volunteers that work just recruiting?

Come on man, you know Saban is freaking OCD and he is detailed right down to the opponents water boy.

You claim he's got 50 volunteers focused on just recruiting like it's a bad thing. What's stopping any other program from bumping up their football budget? What's preventing other programs from attracting 50 "volunteers" to help the team where they can?

He absolutely stole signals from Ole Miss when he hired Tyler Siskey. Tyler was an offensive control coach but was in the defensive booth with binoculars in 2013. Freeze changed every signal the next 3 year (2 Ole Miss victories and another 43 point score)

So freeze doesnt change his plays every year?

Bush League....

He doesn't need to do this. Unfortunately, Alabama is in a class by themselves. It's Alabama and everyone else.

Did you link a video of a TV mic guy? They use hand signals as not to put their own voice in the recording

they are running an algorithm that takes historical signs, combines them with game film... they then run that through something similar to facial recognition using the current signs and it adapts accordingly in real time providing play details. Trust me, I invented it and am making bazillions of dollar licensing it.

He has those GAs watching film to get formations and plays down. A team may have 8 formations but only runs the same 4 plays out of said formations, or only runs 2 plays from a certain formation. Shifts and motion is the only way to throw that off. We did it as HS coaches. You must break tendencies!!

I'd reckon to say all schools do it to a degree on gameday.

If they don't all do it, then they all try to do it.

That was one good thing about having Les Miles as coach, you never had to worry about anyone stealing his signs.

You should have replied with your photo

Seriously Do you think a TV mic guy will 1)talk and 2)signal the opposing coaches?

You can't explain this to the OP. Auburn's offensive guru HC runs the ball +75% of the time on first down. Yet he starts a thread asking if Saban steals signs.

It took place a couple of years ago. It's over so I won't cry about it. But there was a lot more to the story than just the clip I posted. It's over and not worth going into at this point. But if you don't think it happens then you are being naive. oh and posting a picture of your sister and saying it's me is kinda funny.

yes the hogville story

or you could go with facts

quote:

An ESPN source said any allegations of playcall signaling are absolutely false, and that the employee was signaling to a camera for a standard communications check with producers.

Grow the hell up Peter Pan. If you broadcast your plays on poster board, people are going to see it. That would be like wearing an Auburn shirt and being surprised when some lizard eating lady hollers "War Eagle" at you.

I mean really.
