Close but add Tennessee to Alabama and UF and take away LSU from Bama and add UF to UGA and you are right on the money.

LOL @ LSU not having a rival

LSU has several rivals. it seems that LSU is greatly misunderstood and has been for a long time. I think it's the catholic, Cajun thing as surrounding states are jealous. that means tejas, ar-kansas and Mississippi. it seems that Alabama also falls in that category. the rest of the SEC doesn't know us well due to lack of playing them very often.

in short, LSU's rivals live in boring states that have lousy cuisine and many archaic drinking statutes. therefore, they take their latent feelings of inferiority out on the fun loving acadiens. haters gonna hate.

Ole Miss is my best guess, but there just hasn't been the balance necessary, I feel.

My first thought was LSU/Alabama. but the balance isn't there, either. lately it has but not historically.

A rivalry is usually someone or some entity competing for the same goal. So the sec west teams are competing to get to ATL and the sec east teams are doing the same. So I consider most teams we play a rival.

I think proximity/history should be tops, followed by definining moments.

Tech is our biggest rival although there aren't a TON of "defining moments" like there's been with say au and florida.

UGA and OM played every year from like 1966 to 2002 but we certainly aren't rivals.
