January makes up for the regular season loss. But I have to admit that missing out on Atlanta still stings a little bit. I'll take crystal over the SEC championship all day, but there was nothing better than taking home both in 2009

No doubt. It's that segment of the UA fanbase that thinks that ISU meteor is an annual event that's humorous. But winning in BR this year will probably seal the deal. UF is much improved and a year ahead of schedule, but I don't think they are at Tide's level right now.

It is pretty much an annual event though. It's much more common to have an champion with a loss than an undefeated champ. And in most of those cases, there are more than one team with one loss that could have been in the game. Almost always the team with the worst loss down the stretch, OSU in this case, is going to get jumped by better teams who lost earlier in the season. You guys act like someone did Alabama a favor last year, but it's pretty straight forward. You would think you guys would understand after the 2 loss 'ship in '07.

Doesn't really matter though, not a single Alabama fan would give back the crystal ball for a lowly SEC champ trophy. Not like the two things are equal. 21-0.

I agree with most of what you said but I wouldn't describe the SEC championship trophy as lowly. It's not equal to the crystal but it is certainly not lowly.

I'm pretty sure it never crosses most of our minds. Go find a rival. You're just another good team on our schedule.

Really should be 8 of the last 9 regular season games. The 2009 one at bama was sorta horsehit after the PP interception frickup.

Hell, its actually been 10 years since Bama has a legit regulation win against LSU during the regular season.

incorrect. no more of a favor than well more than half of the BCS era champions have gotten anyway. Other teams lost. That's how it works. That's not special treatment. If you wanna whine about that then well, I'll be over here enjoying how butthurt you sound doing it.

:funny shite:

I could understand why you wouldn't want us as a rival, chicken shite.

We like having everyone as a rival....not just teams you can beat on (hi UT)

I think this is the key. LSU has clearly been bama's daddy for a long time.

"I guess we could ask lsu fans the same question, would beating alabama next weekend make up for the arse thrashing on the big stage in january?"

It would help ease the pain of 1/9. If we beat Bama this year it would make me feel better to know that we ruined their perfect season, although they will still play in Miami even with 1 loss. A regular season loss does'nt count if your Bama.
