Dude there was no luck on 1/9. Maybe they got lucky getting there, but they beat our arse. The game proved they should have been there.
Obviously the luck was getting into the game. Then anything can happen. And with rematches of that magnitude, more times than not you see that sort of result. Sports 101.

I don't disagree that wasn't a factor, however we played terrible in that game, and they played much better than they did on 11-5 or whatever it was.

Winning a football game vs the #1 team in the country?
That's a moral victory?

We beat Florida twice in 1999. Beat the shite out of them the second time. ;)

Yes, I would trade 3 regular season losses for a National Champhionship anytime.
But the 21-0 beatdown in New Orleans was especially sweet. I might trade a few more for that one.

What are Bama fans thoughts about possibly losing
Hasn't really crossed my mind yet, but I guess 21-0 is a decent consolation I mean, what good is it beating somebody three years in a row, if they also beat you by 3 TDs in your own backyard one of those years?

Easily makes up for it. Would take about 7 straight by my estimation before it even started to bother me. 21-0.
Yeeeeahhh ok........Bama will never be able to back into the game again so this would get the Gumps restless as shite.
You guys have braggin rights until Nov 3rd....enjoy

If you search my history back to last December you'll see I correctly predicted the score to the LSU/Bama January match-up.
We've run the numbers here over a 100 times - Bama wins by 17 or more 93% of the time.
LSU is not a factor in this game.
TAMU on the other hand... plays Bama a bit closer on the 10th.

When looked at in context yes
The Context was: LSU beat Alabama and was on their way to be the GREATEST LSU TEAM EVER (Geaux Tigahs). The terrain of college football started to slide away like the side of a mountain on the big island of Hawaii. LSU thought "Never, there is no chance we will have to play Alabama again"
The world spoke and Alabama was seen as the only team able to take the beating LSU was about to hand out without having players die. Then some how during the game LSU forgot how to play football.
LSU STUNK UP THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME UNLIKE ANY TEAM BEFORE...
So rather than face reality and accept defeat they somehow clinged to the idea that their winning the SEC championship somehow counterbalanced a lifeless and scoreless performance in the National Championship game.

it's really beside the point since alabama won't lose. but if that should happen, i'll look forward to your melts when i ain't even mad and still drop 21-0 in a bunch of your threads. 21-0, btw.
