I think we'd all agree the SEC title is a clear indicator of strength. Everyone controls their own destiny in the SEC. The BCS more times than not requires a bit of luck. No?

victories against top 5 SECWest programs are considered moral victories to LSU fans now? Not to mention the winner of LSU/Bama is likely headed to ATL.

wow, talk about unrealistic expectations.

our thoughts about losing to any game are that we're opposed to it. However, we will always have 1/9, the most dominant NC performance to date by anyone, and defense played the way God intented it to be played.

I guess we could ask lsu fans the same question, would beating alabama next weekend make up for the arse thrashing on the big stage in january?

We have 22 of those. Would you like to borrow a few we're not using?

Is this a serious question?

Auburn is 1-6 and fans wouldn't trade their trophy to undo 6 losses, much less one.

Dude there was no luck on 1/9. Maybe they got lucky getting there, but they beat our arse. The game proved they should have been there.

I don't think of it in terms of what's happened in the past. The two losses in a row in the regular season and the win in the BCSCG are water under the bridge (although it's pretty obvious which choice ANYONE would make regarding those games).

My thoughts on losing to LSU in two weeks are that that game is most likely for a shot to play in the SECCG and probably in the BCSCG for Alabama, so I want it BAD and a loss would suck. The 2 out of 3 BCS Championships would make it a little easier to deal with coming up short this year, but 3 out 4 sounds really good.

January was a huge blow that will be brought up for next 50 years. In LSU/Bama country 1/9 is as recognizable as 9/11. I refused to even talk about that game for a long time.

Winning back to back SEC titles and playing again in the BCS game would certainly go a long way to make up for that BS game last January. Sure.

Who gives a shite? That game won't mean a thing after the gumps get grindstomped by Dan Merlins this Saturday.
And of course the corndogs shouldn't worry, there is plenty of room for them on that curb. Go ahead and take a bite of concrete. Dan will be with you shortly.

Does the win in January totally make up for that?

Conventional wisdom tells me that one win makes up for basically every loss to us ever
