ole miss cabs were charging 10-30 bucks a head to get to any where last time I was in oxford. Absolute crime.

How much do they charge because it has always been cheaper to use Uber when I had the choice.

Ya, the only major criticism that I have of Uber is sometimes they charge ridiculous amounts on holidays/special events.

Surge pricing on Uber is fine with me, because if there's demand to justify it around special events, you are completely SOL in getting a taxi in most cities anyway.

This is true and I still will use them. I don't blame them but still can get crazy at times.
