It'll be interesting to see if Travonte Valentine can contribute anything in this game. If he were to live up to any of his vast potential, it would be needed on Nov. 5.

That was LSU's play by play guy.

This was Dave Neal:

Randall, as time expires, lets it fly...OH, MY GOODNESS! TOUCHDOWN, LSU! They win the game! They win the football game!

I agree I don't think this will be a high scoring game. Both defenses are too good and will be a typical 21-20, 20-17 type of game.

If anything Alabama should be a little worried only due to the fact they have already given up 43 and 30 where as LSU has only given up 21. This only tells me that Alabama's defense is a little more prone to giving up a few more points in spurts.

Saban nearly had an aneurysm on the sideline in the last minutes in those games when the defensive backups allowed those garbage points to be scored.

I know, I know. The one now is just a minor tweak in species. Basically the same avi.

Yes, that was Hawthorne. I didn't have the JP play by play handy. Glad you did.

I enjoy watching the whole thing in sequence. I've seen the highlight a million times, but when you see it in context, it makes it that much more surreal. Every time I see a game where someone has the chance to win with a FG, and they take an early TO leaving some seconds on the clock, I am reminded of that fateful day.

Guy Morris lifting his hands up in jubilation as Randall lets go of the ball, and then slamming them down and yelling in disgust is just priceless. Jared Lorenzen's reaction. The dude running onto the field, then seeing Randall start to celebrate, then looking down the field in disbelief. The fans tearing the goal posts down. Saban walking off the field saying "I feel bad for Kentucky, but I'm happy for our players."

I have only seen LSU fans suggest this. Is UA a good team this year but not unbeatable.

Exactly. They will keep saying, "Bama fans claim this team is the bestest EVAR!!!" so often they all actually start believing all Bama fans have stated that - even though no one has.
