We're talking about Tuscaloosa. There's a Hampton Inn in Tuscaloosa too. It's gonna take three hours to get to Bham after the game
3 hours minimum. Last time I went to an LSU-Bama game in Tuscaloosa, we hung out in the RV for 2 hours before even attempting to get out. Still took over 2 hours to get home.
You would be better off staying off the interstate somewhere between Tuscaloosa and Mississippi after the game if you're going home after the game. If you're sticking around, I'm sure anywhere to crash, even the Western Inn, would be fine for a few hours.

Apparently it's a big dump, probably worst motel in Tuscaloosa, thus the cheap prices and availability.
If you're just flying solo and don't mind a shitty room/bed and need to crash cheaply fine. If you're bringing a family prob not a good idea.

I want something in Tuscaloosa bc the game probably won't end until almost 11pm. And driving and hr to Birmingham or an 1 and ahalf to meridian afterwards isn't very safe for me that late.

For anyone saying it takes 3 hours to get to Birmingham after the game, have you ever tried going down 82 to Centerville and then cutting over to Calera? It looks like it would be way out of the way, but you can get to I-65 in just over an hour.
That puts you in Hoover in less than 2 hours.

That I have not tried. But I'm not from Birmingham, I've just had to stay a few times. Almost sounds like you may as well stay in Prattville or Montgomery. That's only 90 minutes on a non-gameday, don't know how bad 82 is the whole way after a game

I live around the corner from there. It's a shithole. The overall area is OK and its right off the interstate. It's mind-boggling, though, how one of the nicest neighborhoods in Tuscaloosa is right around the corner from this dumpster fire of a motel. This place is notorious for housing sex offenders that other places won't take.
With that said, and like others have already said, if you're alone or not worried about impressing whoever is with you then this place will be fine. Honestly you're lucky to get a room at all especially that close to campus. But if you plan on getting laid, (and not by one of the myriad hookers that hang out there) your money will be better spent somewhere else.

Hell with all that, hook up with some cute freshman chicks and bed down in their dorm. What's wrong with y'all? This is college.
