I'd rather sleep in my car.

I don't know about the quality of the hotel, but that area is fine. Big commercial highway. Not the ghetto.

Pros: you can walk to Cracker Barrel.
Cons: that hotel is one of the oldest by the highway. It's changed names a dozen times over the years. I think the most recent chain name, it was an Econo Lodge. At one time, back in the 80's, I believe, it had a decent lounge, don't remember the name, and it had a comedy club night there on Thursdays.
I'd be surprised if rooms aren't rented by the hour there.

Moon Winx is better. That or The Ole English Inn.

There's a Howard Johnson, Mercedes dealership, a state troopers office, a post office and Cracker Barrell next door
It is truly terrifying

when I go to New Orleans I never start a thread asking about the safety of the hotel I'm considering staying at....

Him asking questions is doing research you nitwit. Secondly, people from all over the world come to New Orleans so info is easy to find. The same cannot be said about Tuscaloosa.

I'm actually in faculty seating in the south uppers. I saw people selling LSU section tickets in the section next to me, so I was confused. Looks like they split the uppers. Thanks
Eta: any chance you know the rows that end/start the split between faculty and visitors?

Moreover, the hotels all book up months before football season, every year, they get tons of business, there will be plenty of online reviews.
eta: i'm not actually comparing tuscaloosa to new orleans, i'm just saying

Are you slow or something? This is considered research. Asking others who may know something about the motel. There isn't much info online about it.

Just get a any room you can find. It's either that, leave town, or sleep in a minivan.
