You Alabama fans criticizing Draconian Sanctions know full well you would be crying like babies if it was Alabama in LSU's position.

Of course, the SEC office has proven in the past that when Alabama complains, they better address it. (See SEC office apology to Alabama for a call that went against them vs LSU back in the early 2000's for one example).

FYI, UT has played in the SEC Title game 2 times in the last 9 years. More than everyone else but UF and UGA who each have played in it 3 times.

Why don't Alabama fans support this?
Bama fans truly don't give two flying flips. We want to play UT every single year. The only thing Bama fans get tired of and don't support is the continual whining, moaning, groaning, and crying from the school girl sissies from LSU that are pissed that Saban is winning at Alabama but displacing that anger and fear onto some BS about schedules and "But, but, but, but it's not fair...."

I agree. If LSU wants to drop the Florida game, let them. Everyone who wants to keep playing their rivalry game can

Good deal. We're on the same page. 10 teams rotate. 4 teams continue their second and third tier rivalries as constants.

Yeah, college football still continued when a real rivalry in OU/Nebraska stopped playing every year

I don't see the parallels. UT isn't leaving the SEC.

It really doesn't matter how y'all want to change the schedule. Do what ever y'all's hearts desire. But leave us UT and Auburn.

You might be ten but this issue far predated the arrival of Saban.

OU/Nebraska was broken up as an annual game when the Big 12 formed and they went with a pure 3 game rotation between divisions.

Nope, that's hypothetical BS.

Oh geez, get over it.

Yes, you, bama.

This discussion is about making strength of schedules somewhat even.

Nah, we'd just beat UGA 41-30 in '08, USCe 20-6 in '09, UF 31-6 in '10, and UF 38-10 in '11. Quit your bitchin

It was changed when both teams were in the Big 12. At the time, it was a far bigger rivalry on a national scale than the Bama/Tenn game, to which nobody knows is a "rivalry." Regardless, it's just an example. I don't care if y'all keep playing Tenn.

It's not hypothetical. It happened on this same board in 2009 over bye weekgate. Amazing that some of you pretend this never happened.

Yes, it did but your typical bama fan will never be able to admit it.

The problem with this is that Ole Miss/Vandy and State/UK have no interest in losing a locked in game against another subpar program each year.

I've been talking about this since Saban was the coach here.

LSU fans didn't start complaining about it till Saban started winning big. AKA 1/9/12
