I don't think any single loss is due to talent, but I think part of the reason we have a winning streak against Arky is a combination of superior talent and the fact that Bert is simply not a fit in the SEC at any program that can't get top tier talent.
Agreed, and it really doesn't have much to do with "his style" on offense though.

And what have we seen that proves the logic correct?
Well lets see:
-Clemson is smothering yall on the field and the recruiting trail even though your previous coach had them under his thumb at one point
-He hasn't had a single big win to make the Rant doubt the claims
-He is making some of the same mistakes, and hired some of the same people, that got him fired at UF

He's done just fine so far.
For South Carolina's historical standards? Sure.
For what yall thought you were when yall wanted your best coach in history gone because he couldn't get over the hump? No way.
If you want though I can edit the OP and change the USCe one to:
USCe: "You aren't as good as a program as Spurrier has made you seem like you are, and you are going to collapse back to your historical mean once he is gone."
I thought I was being nice doing the Will one but frankly for each program I could so a meaner set of "I told you so"s.
I was going to contributions not defensiveness.

Arkansas: "Bert's style of football won't work with the talent Arkansas as a program can recruit."
He was only competitive in a historically weak big 10
I don't think it's the players, it's the coaching and the competition

Auburn - Kevin Steele sucks
It's situations like this that tells me sometimes a coach and/or player just has to find the right place for them. LSU was not happy with Steele and Auburn is playing lights out with him. Steele was a great hire for Auburn, and Auburn was a great landing spot for Steele.

Sure it does. His style was his expertise, aka the thing Long was counting on when he hired Bert.
Yall sure as frick didn't think he was a HUNH coach, or some kind of back of the napkin wizard like a Gus is.
Normally coaches who get hired at top programs get the job because they are considered an expert on some part of the game (Coach O excluded). Bert's expertise was big boy, NFL style football and he failed to execute that at Arkansas.
You don't think he couldn't have pulled it off with LSU's talent or UF's talent? Maybe not, but he would have been a better fit for the talent of those programs.

If he had LSU level players he would be doing a lot better.
He isn't a terrible coach, he is just in over his head.
I would love to hear why everyone thinks he is failing if it isn't lack of gaining and developing talent.

The national championship team is better than us? Hot fricking take. Texas sucks and they still out recruit y'all, so?

He turned a 3 win team into a 6 win team, and is poised to improve on that again this year.
I know where South Carolina stands. I know what we are. Maybe let's give the guy more than 2 years before claiming Florida fans were right.
It's like y'all expected Muschamp to win 10 games a year. That's fricking stupid. You're stupid.
My ONLY gripe with Muschamp right now is he right Roper back.

If you want to do your own "I told you so" for the Aggies I welcome it.

Fine. frick. I didn't take you for being such a baby. You normally know how to play ball with these more creative Rant threads.

Spurriers first two years he went 7-5 and 8-5.
It took him 6 years to win 11 games the first time.
Let's hold Muschamp to an impossible standard

We, as your cross division rival, really really really want you to keep coach boom boom for a long long time

Feel like a Tennessee and Florida one need to be added to this.

And I hope you guys fire Sumlin and be the next school that makes an underwhelming hire
Maybe then we can beat you weird fricks for once.

Sure, but that doesn't really mean he failed because of his style.

Yes, but he adapted a lot when Enos was hired. Go look at the 2015 Ole Miss win and tell me that looks like Bert B10 football.
There are plenty of games in which look nothing like his style in the B10.

Sure but that doesn't really help your actually point. All that says he isn't a great coach in general. I think you are missing that there have been bigger issues.
I don't have an issue with the I told you so on Bert. I just think the line you used would be 5th down at least.

No no no. This isn't the place for new "I told you so"s. This is the place for old ones.
Here let me get the ball rolling:
A&M: "Yall won't win shite in the SEC without JFF."
A&M: "Sumlin's players are soft."
A&M: "Kyle Allen is going to suck."
Get the idea?

Maybe then we can beat you weird fricks for once.
Yall we beat us one day, that is almost a guarantee. I expect we will win more than we lose though.
I kinda miss playing Mizzou every year if yall are going to be such titbags.
