Bama definitely has a good team and if you can't see that you should probably take off the purple and gold glasses. But the way i see it, most of the bamer fans on this board are d-bagz who have never given Les Miles or LSU any credit, ol' moneybags Saban is the only reason we've won any games this decade. So until they right that wrong, bama can suck it. No matter how this season unfolds, LSU v. BAMA is gonna be an awesome game.

Arlo, honestly, you are an arse. We've got 3 months left in the season. I guess being as pathetic as you've been all these years makes you to be the classless winner you are, so be it.
He's posting on this board, living through LSU fans, gloating that the populist vote has Bama one spot ahead of LSU, and angry the polls that matter, like the coaches and Harris polls, have LSU ahead. Despite that watershed game-- just like UF in 2005 and Tennessee in 2007.
We all know what happened after that. We all know the truth.
LSU still towers over you, period. The road to the SEC championship no longer leads thru Tuskaloser. It leads through Baton Rouge --and it has for many, many years now.We are the standard, not you. And we'll be ready to prove that in a few weeks.
Enjoy the reality your currently hugging.
You should. After all, it's been a long time for your poor folk. But just remember, reality in the SEC changes on a week to week basis. Saban is trying to tell you, because he knows how quick it is from the penthouse to the outhouse. One thing you better understand now.
You are now the hunted. And that will
be the case for the rest of the year.

Pop a Xanax BT. You're having one of your turns again.
LSU hangs 50 on the Tide, I'm out of here. Otherwise I expect you to live up to your word.

Bama is a great program and Saban is a great coach. However:
1. Bama is the most difficult place to coach in the SEC. How would you like to be the head coach at a place where a former coach's words and image are played before each home game? Every coach at Bama is being compared to a coach who is granted God-like status. The truth is that Bear Bryant couldn't do today at Bama what he did back in the '60's and '70's. He didn't coach when there was a 30 scholarship limit and so many SEC coaches with national championships. The era of SEC domination by one team is over. Bama fans forget that Bryant never beat Darrel Royal at Texas or Notre Dame. He had several tries at both.
2. Nick Saban is one of the most difficult coaches to work for and play for. He burns out coaches and people don't enjoy being around him. He doesn't wear well, he knows it and that's why he moves every few years. When he was at LSU, people respected him and put up with him, but they did not like him. Judging from his recent press conferences, he hasn't changed.
I suspect that some time in the next 1-5 years, Nick Saban will either retire or leave Bama for another job. The program will be better for his having been there, but they won't be putting up a Saban statue outside Bryant-Denny.
