Nah, I don't mind seeing all your stuff..at least you post some funny shite too.

Most (actually just about all) the other ones post NOTHING but bama stuff, like that's ALL they ever talk about. But what makes it worse is that anytime UGA loses they feel it necessary to post on my and other people's walls talking crap. Look you grew up in GA and live in GA and didn't go to UGA while your friends did..I get that you might be resentful but keep that shite to yourself.

Ole Miss dominated a team that dominated OU. Stoops should feel fortunate that he got Bama when he did, after the most improbable play in the history of College Football. Quit flattering yourself, Big Game Bob.

So?

A Iaa team beat UF who beat UT who beat SC who beat missouri who beat UGA who beat LSU who beat auburn. I guess the team in the national title game should feel fortunate they didn't have to face georgia southern.

There were 2 gumps that were especially awful at it, but after the 2nd time they did it this year I just deleted both of them. It's not like we were really close or talked much IRL anyway.

Did Colin happen to bring up the Big 12's recent bowl record against the SEC? That could have been a nice BOOM moment on television. It is kind of true though, our conference's bottom feeders are no better that other conference's bottom dwellers, what seperates the SEC from everyone else, is usually the top 3-4 have potential to win the NC every year. No other conference can boast that.

He is absolutely right.

SEC fans who can't see it are homers.

Sure, the SEC has the most top teams, but the entire conference is not elite.

Plus, his points about A&M and Missouri are well taken.

The "SEC is Better Than Everyone" meme is true in some regards and not true in others. Sure, the top 2-3 teams in the SEC are among the best in the nation, but the conference as a whole is no better than other conferences, for the most part.

No, FCS teams are ineligible for the FBS BCSNCG. Having never sniffed one, I guess you wouldn't know. You're welcome.

The bottom half of the SEC has done exceptionally well in their bowl games recently.

Hell, Ole Miss dominated Texas who was in the running for the Big-12 the last weekend of the season.

So, yes, I would say he is wrong.

What he should have stuck with is that OU can play with anybody. Which should go without saying. They are one of the top programs historically. Bob shouldn't have to point to the SEC and degrade it if he truly feels he's on equal footing. What he did last night should be enough.

I guarantee you though this all stems from what he hears on the recruiting trail.

Doesn't bother me what Bob thinks. History says the SEC is the better conference overall. Of course a team can find success in any given game, but can they sustain dominance for a long period of time?

Oklahoma has choked more than Linda Lovelace in big games under Stoops.

I might add it didn't bother me at all that Bama lost.

If by 100 years he meant since '96 then yea.

Big 12ish hasn't even been around for 20 years yet. What an idiot

Are # of NFL draft picks completely irrelevant in the discussion?

To me thats a more objective indicator than anything....and in recent years, especially last year, it wasn't close.

What about recruiting class rankings? This years, last years, doesn't matter.

Don't both of the above make it a very reasonable argument to say that the best players are in the SEC? It doesn't mean every other conference sucks, or that there are no good players elsewhere, or that a team with better coaching cant beat a team with more talent....but to me both of those things say as much as the NC run the SEC is on.
