Is there any doubt that the constant A&M circle jerk and boasting about their traditions, fanhood, etc. is just overcompensation that sprouts from a severe inferiority complex?

Texans like to brag and bullshite. So it has been, so it shall always be.

You guys should not have agreed to that. Alabama used to play the day after and that was bad enough.

I don't know the circumstances of negotiations, or why Alleva agreed to it, but he had to have been pushed by the SEC office to accept the T-Day game. He did not sound happy about it.

I feel like it's slightly different for A&M though. When Texans brag about Texas they're just overvaluing their opinions and assume that others are interested. With A&M it seems more like they're trying to convince you of how awesome A&M is, maybe even subconsciously trying to convince themselves simultaneously. It seems to me to arise from insecurity whereas I don't really get that feeling from general Texans.

I can tell you about how it went. First we told Ark to move over. They said yessir but can we continue the game in Dallas. We said sure why not. Then We told LSU when the game was. They said yessir, but can we host ours on the weekend. We said sure.

Don't accuse us of being unfair and unjust rulers.

I love LSU, but I am never going to watch them play football on Thanksgiving Day.

This was about LSU not selling out, but you can make it about how great A&M is.

I have a few friends that bought AU/LSU tickets through the LSU ticket office.

Gonna be a sprinkling of orange and blue throughout the purple and gold tomorrow.

We actually don't care if you're interested, we just like to brag, period.

Don't care if you think TAMU is awesome or not, but you WILL hear about it incessantly, by God

I don't mind it so much as long as the Baton Rouge games are on Saturday. I can understand A&M wanting to have a big rivalry-like game on Thanksgiving.

TBird, I think everyone here acknowledges that you are a rare exception. I would appreciate it if you wouldn't come in here and piss all over my theories with your light-hearted humor.

Easiest answer is we still DGAF about you. You're not Bama, Auburn, UF, etc. We don't care about playing you
