I do think TAMU will eventually move this to Fri/Sat. That is the NFL's slot now. Was great when it was only college football at night. Once they took interest, ratings game over.

Not sure whether LSU-TAMU, when at LSU, will be Fri or Sat but I foresee TAMU doing the same in either 2 or 4 years.

Impossible? Tell that to the 106K there and 20K outside the stadium just tailgating.
again... Turkey Day games are already a large part of your fan base's holiday tradition. We don't go to games on Thanksgiving... we sit in a lazy boy and watch them.

I'm sure it will change in a few years if this Thanksgiving Day game continues.

Y'all didn't even sell your allotment this weekend for a top 12 matchup. 0 room to talk.

Considering the games is on Thursday thats a lot of money to miss work and travel all that way when you could spend that money on spending thanksgiving with relatives you don't see as often. I'm not sure why this is hard to comprehend

there really is no reason at all for the game to be on thanksgiving.

Of course there is. Texas vs. TCU is the same day.

Horrible attitude! Reasonably-easy driving distance from Baton Rouge. Get to watch every college football game you want Saturday. What's not to like?

In fairness this was the first thing that occurred to me as well. But I'm not sure how that all works. I got mine from Stubhub, not the school. I'm very sure I got better seats than I could have through the 12th Man Foundation. And I imagine there will be a large group of Aggies who did the same thing.

Same.

I'll even be in Texas, albeit San Antonio.

Tempted to go to the game but I feel bad abandoning the wife and kid.

Thanksgiving day and the upper deck fan seats suck as in the tackle box. Would rather watch from a helicopter

That's at least a 6 hour drive for most LSU fans on Thanksgiving Day.

Is there any doubt that the constant A&M circle jerk and boasting about their traditions, fanhood, etc. is just overcompensation that sprouts from a severe inferiority complex?

You guys should not have agreed to that. Alabama used to play the day after and that was bad enough.
