Not really a stretch. We haven't played a team as good as Georgia, but ULL is equal to Vandy and Southern Miss is about equal with North Carolina.

You can't be serious here.

You forgot about Jalson Fowler. I would say Gurley, Fowler, then Yeldon, then the rest...

There are some trolls up in this thread, but this guy takes the cake. At least he isn't trying to hide it. Bravo sir

Yeah, he was getting owned and decided to change it to a troll to get out of the corner he painted himself in.

Southern Miss has lost like 15 straight games playing in a god awful conference

First off, they lost a lot of really close games in that span, a few 1 point losses and many by a field goal or less.

And Conference USA is not god awful, they almost always have a team on the BCS bubble.

After carefully considering the responses to this thread, I have taken an even deeper look into some of the statistics and revised the OP to be a more accurate reflection of the Top 5.

If it's a ranking of the top 5 running backs in the SEC, you can't have a tie. That makes 6. If this list was legit it would have Collins at #1 and Williams at #2.

Are you serious? Gurley & Yeldon>Alex Collins and Jonathan Williams by far. Play through the grind of the SEC before you start spewing bullshite!I know it feels good to win but start getting used to losing in the next 6-8 weeks!!

What has Yeldon done that is making everyone so convinced of his greatness? He's getting a lot of traction for what he did last year behind an offensive line that is lightyears ahead of the one he currently rushes behind.

I agree with the OP until we play a legit team there is a whole lot of unknown still. The homer in me believes in time they will be good backs maybe great. But this year is a rebuilding year and we are gonna take our lumps like it or not until BB gets his type of players in here. When we finally get into SEC play we will find out what we have not only in RB but more so in the offensive line. They could still be great backs but if we don't have an O-line or a QB that can throw it our RB numbers could drop. Southern Miss. putting 8 or 9 in the box is not the same as a Bama or LSU doing it. We shall see.

Sumlin came from C-USA and he seems to be doing pretty well. Laugh all you want, but they usually have a ranked team in BCS discussions every year. Look at Houston with Sumlin and East Carolina a few years ago.

So two relevant teams out of a handful of years makes it a good conference?

I will laugh all I want. I graduated from Memphis. Conference USA is not something you're proud to say you're in.

Those are just 2 examples, C-USA has had some good teams in the past few years. There were several years when it was better than the Big East.
