I think LSU is deserving of a top 5. There entire offense comes back, except for some linemen. If Beckwith stays on D, that's like Ragland staying for us. They have a good schedule with OM and us playing at LSU.

I would not put LSU in the top 5.
Maybe around 10-12. They have to prove that they can win big games when it matters. A top 5 team is a playoff team with 1-2 losses all year. I am not very confident.
Will they have the talent? Yes. But, will they put it together? They have not done so since 2011.

Don't we all think polls should come out maybe in early October when all the teams have played at least three or four games? Some of the talking heads turn in laughable pre-season polls. The SEC Media all needed to have their brains examined this past summer when they picked Alabama to win the West but Auburn to win it all. Duh.
