What a coincidence because Auburn football has become utterly irrelevant. Along with the baseball and basketball teams.

It's remarkable that UF fans show up in threads about Auburn all because the coach they fired took a DC gig at Auburn afterwards.

You guys act like Muschamp spurned UF for Auburn's DC job when the reality is that you all were happy to see him go.

I thought only UGA players smoked weed?

Oh, nevermind, we are the only ones that test for it and then we suspend our players for it.

Is it really that hard to lay off the MJ for the three or four years of college while you get your free degree and possible NFL career? frick

These kids get used by the NCAA and their schools to generate millions, all while receiving nothing in return but a useless degree. Most of them aren't even fed on a regular basis and go to bed hungry. What little money they have, they use on weed to take the edge off, which leads to more stress over having no money.

It's a vicious cycle.

Well you won't have to worry about that anymore since you fired your moral compass.

Wrong

I am pretty sure LSU tests for it as well

Surprised we made it 3 pages before a UGA fan touts their rigorous weed testing. Instead of smoking pot, UGA players are shooting beer cans with BB guns in their dorm rooms. Hardly a desirable trade off

We're just amazed that anyone else would give him a job. Is that ok with you? Seeing as how you're the thread police and all.

I mean, it's dumb, but I hate seeing this sort of stuff being labeled as "arrested". It immediately plants the image in people's mind of violent crimes, and this is literally 4 dudes high with some weed on them.

The 'arrested' part of the headline doesn't bother me as long as it paints an accurate picture. That, unfortunately, isn't the case with the Montgomery Advertiser story in the OP's link.

"4 Auburn Players Arrested on Drug Charges" . While technically true, that's 100% click bait that intentionally gives the impression of something worse than driving around with some weed in the car.

I guess it was too much to say "Misdemeanor Marijuana"

Oh, and props to the REC doing work. Won't hear another word about Bo Davis now.

So the Auburn Trifecta has become the Auburn Superfecta?

I'm indifferent. I just think it's unusual

I'm not necessarily judging you guys for it. I just don't see Auburn fans wishing evil on Tuberville or Chizik just because things didn't work out there. The anger towards Muschamp has always seemed like misplaced anger over Meyer leaving

Nailed it. They thought they were going to be what Bama is and then Meyer dropped them.

I have been anticipating the transfer rumors to go to USCe since Muschamp was hired. No joke. I thought if we heard anything about Cowart this off season it would be transfer rumors
