Mizzou's 2014 recruiting class:

Devin Booker G #30 overall

Jakeenan Gant F #47 overall

Namon Wright G # 87 overall

Transfers:

Deuce Bellow F # 54 overall class of 2011

Zach Price C # 67 overall class of 2011

That is what you consider good? Someone hasn't kept up with Kentucky's recruiting apparently. They won't be as good this season because they have 8 possible 1 rounders on their team and no one knows who is going to stay or leave.

Karl Towns is better than anyone you listed. Looks like someone may be a little too cocky listing Booker already.

I'd put Mizzou in the top 25 home court advantages.

Higher than that, I posted the percentages earlier. Has Missou Arena only been around a short time, they had like 150 games there, 10 years?
The percentage is .867, that is quite impressive. I'd say top 5.

I wouldn't put Mizzou automatically in that 3rd spot. We have a lot of question marks. Plenty of talent. But I'm unsure. I'd say top 6. But we are going with an untested PG. And we still have chemistry issues at this point. We will see.

In short Mizzou doesn't lose inside Mizzou Arena and it's the greatest home court advantage in college basketball

I know you are new to the SEC and all but your information is incorrect. Mizzou is not even in the Top 10. However there is only 1 team on that list currently or formerly in the SEC. In fact that SEC team occupies the #1 spot. On january 1st, 1943 this team lost on their home court to some yankee laden team from across the Ohio Ocean. It would be until january 8th, 1955 when a team from Georgia Tech would squeak out a 1 point win to stop the longest home game winning streak.

Yeah you read that correctly, 12 YEARS! Mizzou has a long way to go to touch that record. The closest UCLA got was in the 70's and they were a good 30 games behind the record.

Here is the Top 10 list to brush up on

#1 Kentucky – 129 games (1943-1955) (broken by Georgia Tech 59-58 in Memorial Coliseum on Jan. 8, 1955)
#2 St. Bonaventure – 99 games (1948-1961) (broken by Niagara 87-77)
#3 UCLA – 98 games (1970-1976) (broken by Oregon 65-45)
#4 Cincinnati – 86 games (1957-1964) (broken by Bradley 87-77)
#5 Arizona – 81 games (1945-1951) (broken by Kansas St. 76-57)
#5 Marquette – 81 games (1967-1973) (broken by Notre Dame 71-69)
#7 Lamar – 80 games (1978-1984) (broken by Louisiana Tech 68-65)
#8 Long Beach State – 75 games (1968-1974) (broken by San Francisco 94-84)
#9 UNLV – 72 games (1974-1978) (broken by New Mexico 102-98)
#10 Arizona – 71 games (1987-1992) (broken by UCLA 89-87)

Even the recruiting services are starting to say it's a two-horse race, UK and Mizzou. And he's a legacy. I like our odds. Should know soon enough.

Cheese - that list doesn't come anywhere close to capturing the current best home court advantage. It's interesting. But irrelevant.

I'm not saying Mizzou has no chance, just laughing at the fact that MS2 is considering him a lock.

You could argue top 5. But there's a lot of competition.

1. Cameron
2. Rupp
3. Some piece of trash school
4. Carrier Dome
5. Chapel Hill - whatever they call that place

Honorable mention: Hawg Palace, Mizzou Arena

Kentucky can have all the 5 star players they want, but it doesn't mean that Kentucky will win (i.e. NIT tournament 2013) You have to have players who are unselfish, and not all about themselves which is what Kentucky players usually are all about

Are you not familiar with our recruiting? We don't recruit scrubs like the class you just posted.

el oh el

Why do you continue to posts recruiting rankings. It might be the worst possible stat to post when trying to compare any team to Kentucky.

He is the same guy that guaranteed a Mizzou arse kicking in Rupp last season on UK. So, I would not put to much stock as Catfan calls him a "window licker".
